So the website showed 3 games to update. Cool, did that...............but why does the a/c tab still show me having 3 games to update, even though when going into my a/c page it now says 0 ?

SCRATCH THAT - as soon as I posted this question, the a/c tab went to 0 !!

It had resisted a log out / in and everything else I had tried, so I guess u have to post something.

It's petty common, the system can be quite slow to catch up, especially during sales, sometimes even taking a few hours. Be a little patient, they will go away eventually..

Thanks, I didn't expect it to be that slow, I obviously need to work on my patience :)

Yeah, usually at least one update notification sticks around for an hour or more sometimes, and may require going to https://www.gog.com/account/refresh then waiting a bit for it to vanish. If you're using GOG Downloader at all, notifications get stuck in it all the time and so far I've been completely unable to get rid of them at all in there even once they no longer show on the website itself.

GOGcode(TM). :)
