Seriously tempted....These new modes certainly add replayability but i hesitate....

How linear is the main game?
Great updates. Whenever I hear the terms "local" and "multiplayer" I get meself thrilled.

It's a linear story-based RPG. You can pick the order in which you do the side missions between chef battles, and there isn't enough money to buy all the items so you can plan different builds. I don't know what you were expecting, an open world game?

The aftergame content has several varieties of randomly generated matches.

It's a unique game and I really like the rotating gem match-3 mechanics.

I certainly wasn't expecting open world. Perhaps i didnt explain myself sufficiently.
I guess i'll pick it up . Thanks for the info. You covered pretty much everything i needed to know.
