Stuff: ...
With external storage being very affordable I would suggest you get a good quality external for your actual backups. That's just my way of backing up my games for some time and no dis on using CD/DVD's if that is your preference. I store game covers with my game files just to have game info and an image of the front covers I spent so much time looking at back in the day.
Oh, I've got LOTS of storage space for backing up my stuff, but the effort of backing up all my Steam and GoG games has quickly filled it up, so I started trying to free up space by backing up some of the larger ones I'm most likely to use again to DVD, Bluray, or even sometimes their own USB flash drive.

When I bought the Dishonored, Wolfenstein, and The Surge games they would have filled up my storage drives on their own!

I'm also somewhat paranoid about keeping ALL my games on one drive. If they worst would come to pass and GoG shuts down and my storage drive breaks down I'd lose it ALL! I want to at least back up my smaller favourites to CD as an additional backup.

So... you don't have a lot of storage space.

Backup means duplicating your data, not just "storing" it.

0ttman: What size case do you all use for these covers?

Stuff: The covers were originally designed for the "Standard" DVD cases with the clear plastic outer layer. The issue was/is that the exact dimensions can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. There is a small grey band at the top and bottom of most covers to allow for trim-to-fit situations. The posted cover dimensions are smaller than is required so you would need to find the printing instructions as you need to enlarge the cover image during the printing process.

Here is a link to my very, very, very outdated printing instructions which may give you a good starting point.

Here is a link to the old cases which I do not post a a recommendation but only as an example. There are other brands at the bottom of the page as well.

I stopped storing my games on DVD's several years ago and recommend you get a good external hard drive for that purpose also. I just save the covers with my game files as a way to remember the original game box cover. I try to stay as close as possible to the original cover but that's not always possible.

Hope this helps??

Hello everyone, as always thanks to all the contributors for their work.

I always wanted to try to make a cover myself, so here we go. Hopefully it's not that bad for a first time, it took me hours to create my own template lol.
