Use any cover images I post any way you want. If you want to use a different background for the E&H cover just pop the two game covers off and find a high res E&H screen shot that you prefer. I have attached a transparent png of the title that might save you some design / search time.

(BTW, I made myself a D2 cover as I wanted the spine to match my existing DD cover.)

This is really great; I'm going to have to buy some supplies and get these printed out and on my shelf! I'm pretty sure that, if properly cared for, optical media like CDs and DVDs could outlast hard disk drives and flash memory by quite a considerable margin!

I'll admit that the Dangerous Dave cover is not the best but I couldn't really find anything I thought was good enough for the cover. I think it turned out alright (definitely better than the other cover I tried to make for it) but I'm not very satisfied with it. I'm not sure if I'd classify upgrading already released on GOG games to HD versions as a new release but GOG did and I was sure you guys will like new covers for them so I made them :)

Damnit man, you are too hard on yourself. Your covers are always spectacular, hell they push me to print physical labels even if I don't burn the games to disc. :P Keep up the good work, so long as you keep making 'em, I'll keep collecting 'em. :)

I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work and effort you've put into your contributions with the cover project. As for the Dangerous Dave, perhaps there is some wallpaper out there that can be used for a higher quality cover if you are unhappy with what you have. The great thing about these covers is that they do not have to be the exact same covers used in retail. Although so many of the retail box art is so well done we all strive to replicate it as best we can. Again thank you for keeping up with all these games.

I'm glad you enjoy the covers I put together. Some of them require more editing than others and take up quite a bit of time. I actually made one with a cover similar to the image you posted and uploaded it to cubeupload. After looking at it I thought that the front cover was just too blurry to post here. I got the cover image off of facebook and had to expand it to make it bigger then I tried to make it sharper. Trying to make an image larger makes it more blurry and it's always better to take a larger image and shrink it. That's why I'm not very satisfied as I can usually find some better images to work with and not have to expand them so much.

Anyway, I didn't plan on posting this but here's the original wallpaper I made if anyone wants to look at it...
