Great work with these (I'm actually printing a few out now that I'm moving my installers to disc.

Just curious has anyone tried doing DVD label variants? Be nice to keep the professional look on the discs rather than just some blue or black pen/marker.

Well, I can make you label for any game you want - just tell me which ones.

I've actually read some bad things on the net about using your own labels. Mostly it was people complaining that the weight of the label would cause their dvd to not play right. It sounds weird and I don't know if it's true or not so I just err on the side of caution and don't use labels.

I see, so if I wanted to do this I should look at things like Lightscribe?

This depends on thickness of paper and ability to glue it properly, so you don't catch any air under it.

I'd like to make a suggestion. IronStar seems like he knows what he's doing with the labels so you should probably buy a package of good thin labels and try them out. If you don't like them or they don't work after several months then you could then try Lightscribe if you wanted to since you can always re-download your GOGs. Lighscribe sounds mroe expensive since you would have to buy their dvds and a Lightscribe enabled drive if you don't have one already. IronStar might have some recommendations or tips that could help you out with the labels and could help make some for you. I could try my hand at making a couple as well but I've never done it before.
Ya Lightscribe would not be an option right now since the cost is a little high especially if I'm only using it for small jobs. Maybe next time I have to get a new printer look into one that can print on DVD's, that would be a better option.

Thanks for the info everyone. I will look into labels as well to check the concerns with them.
There seems to be a few covers not created yet or I just couldn't find them.
So here's my first attempt at one:

American Conquest + Fight Back
