It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Okay, here's what I've figured out: Cubeupload deletes anything that isn't a letter or a number. It also truncates every filename to twenty characters. This means that for games with very long names, the creator's name gets cut off at the end.

That's why I would suggest the following:

1. If we want to avoid having to edit the filenames later, the only option would be to separate the image name and the artist's name maybe like this: ImageXArtist.jpg or ImagezzzArtist.jpg.

2. Longer game titles should be shortened so that the creator's name remains at the end.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

We can also leave out the artist entirely; I used to add their username to highlight who created a particular cover – I did so out of respect for their work – but it’s not required for the repository; we can just list the game titles and that’s it.

I don't know. The names serve as a signature for the artists, who want their work to be associated with them. They also provide additional information and serve as another identifying feature for the covers. I would definitely include them.

EDIT: How about this: let's just use the letters V1, V2, etc., as separators. Even if someone creates only one version of a cover, they should name it ImageV1Artist.jpg. That way, the naming convention remains consistent.

Hello I seen your custom covers here recently and I like the work you been doing, I was wondering if you have a template of that cover? I would like to try to make my own custom gog covers

I just uploaded my templates that fellow user and head of storage BigFatRock has access to, so it should show up in the main archive the next time he skims my storage for new content.

This should be the current database

All published covers (including templates) are collected here: https://rebrand.ly/GOGDVDCovers
Password - BigFatRock (case-sensitive)
Search - use Ctrl + F in your browser or the index.txt file

Unless the new storage is active soon.

I forgot to ask but where do you get high quality screenshots of the games that you use on the back of the custom covers?
