4 minutes past the execution date, the games are still up. Last chance to grab them.

EDIT:
Syndicate Plus and Syndicate Wars just died. RIP. Ultima next to the chopping block.

EDIT 2:
There seems to have been an unexpected delay regarding the execution of Ultima. Preliminary reports indicate that the executioner had to take a pee break. The beheading is expected to occur within the next couple of minutes. We'll keep you posted as the situation unfolds.

EDIT 3:
After the almost unethical delay, Ultima has joined the two Syndicate games in abandonware heaven. May their souls rest easily.

Thanks for the kind words....they're(as always) very much appreciated. :)

(btw check yer PM in a bit)
Is Ultlma already in the Underworld? This place is going to be different without some of the oldest masterpieces available in GOG almost since its origins. They were classics during the discount times.

Krooked_: Thank you for the notice!
This thread certainly doesn't qualify as 'notice,' since GOG made it a Sticky whilst the games were still listed, and thus rendered it invisible to most forum viewers.

And then they un-Sticky it and thus make it visible only after the games have been de-listed.

That is more like an anti-notice on GOG's part.

They really need to abolish their horrible new policy of Sticky-ing de-listing (anti-)'notices.'

The notices are quite visible, as stickies at the very top of page 1 of the general forums. This imo is better than the old system, where non-stickied delistings could slide off of page 1 if no one posted to them and/or other threads got bumped above them.

As such, it seems the problem is not that new delistings are now made stickies, but rather that a number of goggers cannot make it a point to check the top of the general forums for some reason.

And still available on Origin. Who would have thought...

Syndicate Wars is still missing from Origin.

Also, Syndicate (classic) on Origin is only the base-game; the expansion from Plus Edition and/or the Plus Edition in its entirely is missing on Origin.

To me sticky threads are helpful. I notice them much more easily that regular threads, that get passed down quickly.

And that thread got less than 1/10th the posts.....despite (according to some users) being "more visible".

I check this thread regularily: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_removed_from_the_gog_catalogue_by_year

But sometimes the info is being posted there afterwards, which isn't really helpful without a time machine.

I also notice them easily, as I check the first page of the forums(including stickies) every day.

That's why I check the stickies for such delistings more than that thread. ;)

(also: sent you a PM with some info)

A final salute to Syndicate Wars as cruel EA condemns it to Abandonware Hell.
