Kengy: People should think that other peope isn't so lucky than them, as I think than other ppl isn't so lucky as me.
Well said....not everyone has the same budget for entertainment. That is one of the reasons, btw, that I somewhat "worry" when remasters/remakes come to GOG...as the prices are usually 2-3x the original price(which makes it harder for those less well off to buy them).
Kengy: 1. I have no job since years ago, i can spend only 5€ each month in games.
2. My wishlist is giant. These games haven't never been in my wishlist because RPG isn't my favourite genre and I have never played Syndicate games.
3. As you told, they are classics games and I would like to play them anytime in the future.
4. If GOG don't inform that they will be delisted from their catalog, I would missed to buy those games.
As to number 1: that sucks to hear(I am also sometimes on a budget, though not that small a budget)
Btw, I'm curious: If you could have one of the three games that are soon to be delisted, which would it be? ;) =-=-=-=
Spectrum_Legacy: On less serious note though, I like to twist stuff to fit my narrative like any other dude and my imagination is as vivid as any respectable acid user, but can you imagine EA here explicitly requesting GOG something like "Gog listen to me bro, don't let this information slip, alright? You are only allowed to sticky the topic to your own forums - but that's it! Otherwise it's totally a hush-hush nda-style operation, you see!". xD
Dude, please have mercy on me, I have reached my limits here.
Question: I have been nothing but civil and polite to you till now....so then why are you now acting like one Mr. P.I. Staker? o.0
Anyways: I find it funny that you seem to find it such a stretch that partners like EA might have such influence with GOG re: delistings.....especially as the more major GOG partners have it with near everything else(sale discounts/times, prices, store page text & media, etc).
=-=-=-=
(edit)
Just remembered: iirc a staffer once said/implied on a prior delisting (when asked why they didn't make the announcements more visible/etc) that they can only announce delistings via such threads. If one wanted to, they could likely look back at the older delisting threads and find said post.
