So there are so many games inspired by Twin Peaks. The Blair Witch Project volumes and maybe Silent Hill released?
(I'd prefer the BWP ones :D)

Yes, will be interesting to see it, I don't hold up too many hopes though. They are re-doing a few of the old favourites, Roseanne is another up for a new series. Not sure if it will work though, that time has gone.

It can go either way. The return of the X-Files has been a trainwreck, while the Evil Dead return in Ash vs The Evil Dead is absolutely fantastic. It's best to hope for the latter, but expect the former.

It's done by the original creators David Lynch and Mark Frost so I trust they have done good work.

I'm also thrilled that, in the time of remakes and reboots, this is not one of those, but a continuation of the original series. The teasers hint there's a lot of the supernatural / mystery stuff in it. They have that kind of feel to them.

Biggest bummer is that Ontkean didn't come aboard. Actors of Pete Martell, BOB and Garland Briggs have passed away so we won't see them.

I'm watching the original series now, from Blu-ray. Then the movie and then I'm ready! :D

Wow, I had no idea the contract issues with Lynch were solved and that he got back on board! Now I'm extremely psyched about the whole thing - I'm a huge fan of his work.

Oh yeah, also Address Unknown from Max Payne is so heavily inspired by TP that you could almost say it was a retelling of the show.

Well, Remedy clearly love Twin Peaks. I mean, if Max Payne had Twin Peaks easter eggs and some of it's peculiar vibe here and there (especially the dream sequences), Alan Wake in it's entirety just sceams "Twin Peaks!"

I just had a flashback.

Nocturne also had been inspired (partly) by Twin Peaks. Especially in the IVth chapter where you meet Killian.
He's like the Windom Earl from Twin Peaks! Holy crap!

Is it only me or is that character "John Justice Wheeler" Is so easy to hate? I mean they introduced him as some good guy, but just by watching that guy i hate his fucking guts.

I'm just wondering if I should see Fire Walk With me before this? I mean, does it actually contribute anything to the overall mythology/storyline?
