Community behind OpenMandriva Linux launched a new website with detailed instructions on installing popular Windows-only games and game platforms (Wine, POL, Steam) in Linux. Although centered around OpenMandriva, authors have said they will provide info for other distros as well (Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Arch) where applicable.
In the official announcement, one of the developers stated tutorials are not the only aim behind this:
We do not just write tutorials, together with other communities we fix certain common problems to provide easy installation using graphical windows. Considering that, it takes some time for new games to be released. Let us know which games you wish to be published – and leading names will get there!
