I'm trying to remember an old movie. The only thing I remember about was being inspired by Beauty and the Beast, but the beast was human during the day (more similar to a werewolf curse)

Edit:
Found

Beauty and the Beast (1962)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055781/

Thanks to all who helped with suggestions

No, the hero was a noble and lived in a castle and the beast form was humanoid
The Wolfman ?
No, was a older movie (80's or earlier) and I'm not certain, but I think the beast form wasn't wolf-like
Maybe, Beauty and the Beast(1987)?

MadalinStroe: Maybe, Beauty and the Beast(1987)?
Humm, doesn't remember seeing this version, but by the description isn't the one (apparently he only appears here in human form in dreams, different from the movie I'm trying to find)

Edit: checking the link of this suggestion, guess I acidentaly found the film I was looking:
Beauty and the Beast(1962)

It doesn't ring a bell with me, but if you have kids, The Swan Princess is kind of the 'inverse' of what you're looking for and worth a watch.

Great animated movie and I think isn't necessary to be a child to like good animations.

Not at all sir, especially since they were in color long before moving film. :)
That wasn't a movie. That was the bio they made when Ric Ocasek married Paulina Porizkova.
