I'VE SPENT MY HARD WORKED MONEY ON THIS GAME AND I'M VERY FRUSTRATED THAT IT'S NOT WORKING. WHEN YOU BUY A GAME YOU EXPECT IT TO WORK! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS BECAUSE I'M GOING INSANE

I think your finger is on the caps lock key. As I don't own the game here, I can't help you, but your best bet is to check the for this game. It has some activity, so you should be able to get some answers there. If you have Windows 10, you may find [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/tomb_raider_series/a_note_about_tr2_on_windows_10/page1]this thread particularly helpful.

Keep in mind that it's a old game that was not designed to run on modern operating systems, so yes, we will need to make changes in order to make it run.

Uninstall completely and reinstall.

If that fails, try Compatibility Mode on the game's exe.
Contact support if you continue having problems.
They will try to help you.
If they fail you can ask your money back.
Unless it's been more than a month since you acquired the game.

I take it you've played around with SetUp? I don't mean in game, I mean the separate SetUp program. You can find an icon for it in your start menu when you go to GOG Games, Tomb Raider 2. It gives you dozens of different options and any one of them might help.

I think a lot of people are unaware of it because as far as I know, none of the other TR games here have that.

I hope you get it working. I am a TR junky and #2 is really the best of the series.

Sorry for necroposting, but since I just ran across this problem while using wine.
The solution in my case was to execute wine from within the directory TR2 is installed (i.e. the Tomb2.exe resides)...
Maybe someone finds this helpful...
