This thread is to swank about your recent purchases because you want the world to know you actually had money to buy something. It makes you feel important, doesn't it? I recall there was a similar thread already but I couldn't find it with google.

Yesterday I bought this (a cleaning machine):

https://www.gigantti.fi/product/kodin-tuotteet/polynimurit-ja-siivous/SE6100/karcher-tekstiilipesuri-se6100

Two of these (8TB 3.5" HDD):

https://www.gigantti.fi/product/tietokoneet/kiintolevyt-ssd-ja-verkkotallennus-nas/ST8000VN0022/seagate-ironwolf-3-5-sisainen-nas-kiintolevy-8-tb

And two of these (2TB 2.5" HDD):

https://www.gigantti.fi/product/tietokoneet/kiintolevyt-ssd-ja-verkkotallennus-nas/ST2000LM015/seagate-barracuda-2-5-sisainen-kiintolevy-2-tb

I feel poorer already... I got a 10% rebate for the cleaning machine as I had a discount card for the store. It is one I've been thinking of buying for over a year, in order to wash and clean our textile sofa(s) and car seats. You know, like when someone pees or throws up on your sofa and you are like "how the heck am I supposed to clean THAT?!? Just rubbing some moist cloth on the surface?!?". Well, that machine is the answer to it, it will simultaneously push water + cleaning solution to the textile or furniture, and suck it back in right away, so it cleans it deeper, not only from the surface. Great, exactly what I've been looking for! The user reviews for that model have been positive.

I haven't received the machine yet, it is supposed to appear to the store near my workplace, from where I can fetch it when it arrives.

The four HDDs will come to the post office, even though I would have preferred to pick them up from the store. At least then I know they wouldn't be mishandled in the post office. The 2.5" HDDs will replace my older 750GB HDDs inside my gaming laptop, while the two 8TB HDDs will be used for archiving, sitting on an external USB HDD stand.

Well, he actually just bought the lolly which he then offered to the girl...
MINI SNES

It's going to look fly next to my MINI NES, while they both sit there collecting dust because I'll be using the TV to watch England and Croatia beat the shit out of each other in order to find out who gets to lose to France. :D

That reminds me, anyone have any advice on how I should tell my folks that I wagered the B&B on Germany making it to the Final?

I just recently (A few days ago) got an 8bitdo SN30 Pro game controller. I'm wondering why I waited sooooo long now.
Yesterday, my new wireless adaptor was finally delivered. WiFi Asus PCE AC-88, AC3100, PCIe

For whatever reason, over the course of the past two years, every Win 10 update has slowly eroded the wireless signal of my old adapter, until it started failing to even connect, so I was forced to buy this beast. Now my signal is full, no matter how far I move my router. Impressive.

timppu: Yesterday I bought this
Two of these
And two of these
Today I've bought two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.
Sunday I *thought* I bought a power washer. Website said it was available in store, so I ordered it with "hold for pick-up". Get an email the next day saying 26 July. Uh.

Still trying to buy my solar setup. Stupid power company being a pain in the butt, setting back the schedule another 2-3 weeks. So far, that makes it 8 weeks behind schedule.

Yesterday I sold a used machine, so that's good. That'll help me pay for the landscaping that's part of the solar project. That customer can say "Yesterday I bought a used machine!"

At some point I need to buy a de-humidification system for the shop. That'll be another $5-10k. Yay.

I've done that with the Home Depot before. Apparently they don't update their inventory in real time, and it's hosed me before when I had items a customer needed, I got approval to purchase, and then I did, promising it by tomorrow, and now we wait 3 weeks. Really poor overall when I have to go back to a customer and tell him "Sorry, I can't actually get it by tomorrow, and now I've spent the money so please don't cancel and get it from somewhere else..."

Is it fully Xbox360 gamepad compatibile, with XInput support and shit?

Apparently the main point of the design is people who had a SNES and can feel nostalgic, or...? I've never really been a console gamer so for me it won't have the nostalgic value. Same as with Commodore 64-like SID music, or NES-like music in modern indie games, I just can't appreciate as i never had either Commodore 64 nor NES.

So... does it mean you'll be mostly independent as far as electricity goes? At that point I'd buy an electric car as well (but then I guess the gas prices in US are always so super low compared to here...).

Today I bought two ham croissants, that were okay, a bit on the salted side but I've seen worse. However I also bought a chocolate bread, of the "two chocolates" kind, that is, a mix of dark and white chocolate. I'm usually not too fond of white chocolate, but they make an excellent combination in a little bread. Especially with all the tiny brown and white chocolate sprinkles all over it. It was a good acquisition.
...the farm.

In lieu of flowers please send all celebratory notices to my Estate Lawyer, zeo.

It works as Xinput and Direct input, so all your bases are covered. It works on my tablet and my PC. The buttons are large and robust, they FEEL good. The joysticks are smooth. There is haptic feedback with vibration. The only feature it's missing is analog triggers for R2/L2 (Those are digital buttons on this controller) and the only bad part is that the start button activates it, so when it's in my pocket, it is easy to accidentally turn on and burn through battery on my tablet and the controller.

The controller is nostalgic (I geeked out playing Mario Kart on my SNES controller) but it is also quite a good controller on its own. I prefer it to my Xbox 360 controller when playing the Witcher 3. The only problem there is the button locations are reversed from the XBox 360 controller (A is to the right, B is on the bottom, X is on the top and Y is to the left).

....X
Y.......A
....B

vs XBox 360
....Y
X......B
....A

So that affects games where I have muscle memory like Witcher 3 or Dark Souls.
