Pangaea666: Hope GOG and CDPR eventually make a Linux version of Witcher 3 and put it out here. It's kind of baffling why they haven't. DRM Free gaming on a (DRM) Free platform? It's a match made in heaven. Or should be.

I have bought and played the first two games, and would very much like to play the third too, but won't buy it until it's available for Linux. It would just be tossing money out the window(s) otherwise.
AC/DC does rock!

Personally, I lost confidence in them. They had all the time and resources to do it already, and they didn't. I have more confidence in Wine developers than in CDPR.

They sure do! :) But I'm saddened after all the bad news they've had the last few years. Will they even continue? Basically just Angus left now :(

Glad I've managed to see them many, many times.

Angus says he wants to play for another 10 years. I'm down for that! I'm a massive AC/DC fan of immense proportions, and while my avatar photo is just pulled off of Google images I do actually own an SG-62 that looks just like it... only with lots more scratches and dents and road-sauce so to speak. :oP
Let's get back to the topic please.

In their off time, Angus sometimes plays video games but isn't able to play The Witcher 3 because he uses Linux and the game isn't available for Linux yet. So he usually ends up playing guitar a lot instead. Not sure if he voted for it on the GOG wishlist yet or not though.
Could be a good commercial for Witcher 3 on Linux. Angus Young standing there with a lute and playing Highway to Linux :D

In that pub/theatre on the east side of Novigrad central square where Priscilla or whatever her name is played the lute and sung. :)
Someone spotted this earlier today on the https://www.gog.com/my_promo_status (see attached image). Note the Linux icon for TW3! Is it a mistake or an early leak?

Most likely mistake. Seems to be fixed now. Both TW3 and AoW3 are listed as only Windows now.

Could be a mistake of course, but why suddenly? May be both are planned to be released for Linux here?

No, it is a mistake. That "suggestions" are horribly broken: they show prices, platforms and discounts at random, sometimes changing them between page reloads.

If you're that desperate to play it, get an operating system that supports the game.

There isn't such today that's acceptable for me. I'm not going to buy Windows to do it. I'll play it in Wine once it will support the game.

This is like complaining because Metal Gear Solid wasn't on N64. Don't get the lesser gaming platform if you want the most upto date games. Linux is absolutely bollocks for gaming, common knowledge. So why in gods name people moan that there are few to play is beyond me. In coming Linux snobs in 3... 2... 1...
