So I have 7 people friend invite me. I have found out how to accept the invite without going into GOG Galaxy.

If you hover the mouse cursor on a user's avatar in their post the option to friend invite appears. But then I hovered the mouse one user (l0rdtr3k) and it said "Accept Invitation" not "Invite to Friends" so to to 7 preople post in this thread so I can accept invitation.

So I take it GOG is in the process of adding "Friends" in the account tab where the library, wishlist, messages, etc. also is?
