It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

GothikOrk: Fellow gamers, I'm getting desperate for something fun I can play with other people. I need some advice. I don't have a lot of spending money, and my PC is five years old. That pretty much narrows me down to the free to play browser category. A lot of f2p MMOs that my comp can run I've either played out, or gave up when I've reached the point I can no longer progress without spending money.

I like RPGs and strategies, so I'm looking for any of those with a reasonable micro-transaction system, that doesn't excessively punish or stagger the poor players. I miss the community and camaraderie I used to know when I had a better rig, and could afford to keep up with the newer multiplayer games. Anything along the lines of Drakensang Online, City of Steam, Heroes of Might & Magic Online or Runescape would be a start. I also have Minecraft, if any GOGers are looking to recruit for their server or clan, thanks.
Is Lord of the Rings Online one of the ones you've "played out"? Its servers generally have a pretty laid-back and welcoming community, and it's not "pay for your character to move five feet".

Breja: Actually, as I was takling about board games/tabletop RPGs, I justremembered a browser game called Card Hunter. It's a tabletop RPG/board game mixed with a card battle game, styled to emulate the feel of classic D&D editions. A bit of a weird mix, it's rather fun to play (get's repetative after a while, but still). It has both a single player campaign and multiplayer. I have not tried the latter myself, but I think it might be worth your time to take a look.
And on the topic of tabletop games, maybe Tabletop Simulator might be worth a look?
Hmmm... could always consider Sacred or Sacred 2, and find someone willing to play... and i'm willing, although since i can't access the configuration of my router i can't host...
I'd suggest Borderlands 1 or 2 (played both with a set of friends). Quite some fun if you like FPS games.
Sacred 2 is also something I can recommend.
Torchlight 2 has been quite some fun, too.
What I'm playing lately (and enjoying a lot so far) is "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2"
