SpeedBo: I'd have to go with;
Monkey Island 1-3
Riven
Commander Keen 4-6 and Dreams
Descent 1-3
The Dig

Matewis: No love for Commander Keen 1-3?
2 was ok, and 3 pretty meh, but 1 I think is still a solid and fun platformer.
I liked all the Keen games, but I believe 4-6 + Dreams held up better then 1-3, and thus making them more timeless.

Matewis: By the way, that's an awesome avatar! I'll drop you with my my dual Heavy Gauss + dual ER PPC Fafnir tho ;)
Thanks.. I'm not sure that's quite fair, as Fafnir is a assault, and I'm in a heavy, but bring it on freeborn scum!
A few games I can name off the top of my head:
Doom
Psychonauts
Riven: The Sequel to Myst
Diablo 2
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Planescape torment.

Anytime and anywhere! It's a bit difficult to tell, but I thought it might be the mkII model, which is assault class :)
+1 rep.

Those games will never die.
The original civilization as well, or perhaps its sequel. I remember one weekend a couple of years ago I thought I'd quickly check out the game on dosbox just for the hell of it. Long story short, I did pretty much nothing else for the rest of the weekend :P
The interface is a bit archaic these days I think, but it's a lot better in the 1996 sequel from what I remember.
Medieval 2 Total War.
