For those who do no know, Secret Santa is an event where I assign everyone a person to give some gifts too that I will deliver on Christmas day. Pretty simple :)

Speaking of simple, I will try and keep it as simple as I can.

1. If you wish to participate please state "I wish to be a Secret Santa"

2. You will have to either, a. Make your wishlist public, b. post a wishlist here in this thread, or c. send me a wishlist that I will provide to your Secret Santa.

3. Any keys you purchase send to me and I will hold onto them and send them out to your giftee on Christmas Day.

4. If you do not wish to receive gifts but would still like to gift someone please State "I wish to be a Secret Elf"

5. If you do not wish to receive gifts but would like to help out in case a circumstance occurs where someone can not buy the gifts like they wanted please state "I would like to be a Helper Elf"

6. Only GOG gifts please, no Steam or other source

7. This is one of the most important things, once you receive a giftee that means everyone has a giftee and you must not remove or buy anything from your wishlist! If there is a game you really want and feel you can't resist buying then don't put it on the list or enter any giveaways for it. You can add to your list all you want, just don't take away from it after I close the registration phase.

8. I will close signups around December 10th.

If anyone has any concerns or questions feel free to ask me. I would also ask that we keep any negative comments out of this thread, it is not the place for them. We are here to enjoy Christmas and each other :)

I would also like to note that I never will ask you to resend keys! Once you send them to me I will acknowledge that I received them and that is it. Also, if you would like to remain anonymous you will have to create a separate account to buy games with, I don't know of a different way that is easier.

I will send keys out on Christmas Day so everyone will have something to open.

Let's get into the Spirit of Christmas!!!

Damn. I really have to struggle with myself here. On the one hand I don't want to buy on GOG anymore, after they ditched their "100% DRM-free" promise even for single-player. On the other hand, Secret Santa is a time honored tradition and I like making someone else happy. And the users who participate here aren't at fault for GOG's broken promise.

So, do I participate in a community event that I like and thereby support a platform that I don't like anymore? Or do I stick to my 'no GOG-games anymore until they fix the DRM-situation' principle?

I say join for Christmas and don’t buy the rest of the year ;-)
I want to be a secret elf and a helper elf and a white fox.

Alright. It's Christmas after all. I'll put aside my principle and pride and join.

I wish to be a Secret Santa

Also, if you need another Helper Elf, I'm available for that as well.
