I've posted on the Legends of Eisenwald page, but with little traffic there...

I've played some Legends of Eisenwald and enjoyed it, but what of the dlc and other games in the series? Are they worth the time and money as well? Any thoughts are appreciated!
I enjoyed 'Bastard'.

But 'Blood of November' is just meh.
To many real life political references (Trump\Clinton presidential race, obviously), bad humour, too repetitive et cetera, et cetera.
They are mostly standalone games with different stories but same gameplay wise.
I consider that as light strategy with light RPG elements. I went back to play HoMM5 and wesnoth for deeper strategy emphasis after that. If you are a bit hardcopy like me, perhaps try something refreshing or deeper like Expeditions: Viking

I've played a fair bit of Legends.

I'd played HoMM5 but I tend to dislike a lot of high fantasy with "WoW style" art.

Yes, have played a few minutes of Expeditions Viking at an event. Look to getting it... but when the price comes down just a little bit more.
