Cautiously optimistic. After Infinite, I am wary of a new Bioshock game.

It's rumored to be a live service game. If that turns out to be the case, I'd rather go for SS 3.

i just finished bioshock infinite + dlc 1 for the first time. i enjoyed it so much. :D

Ah live service ! my new favourite word. Sell people an unfinished game and take their money then give them the slim hope of a crappy roadmap of coming features, patches, content and other improvements that will never likely come or when your community has abandoned your game in the best case then finalize it with the tastiest of toppings ever MICROTRANSACTIONS.

Truth be told i'm sick and tired, tired and sick and everything in between of these things and have a flawless track record almost of avoiding this crap so no reason to start now, this will most likely kill the hope of it ever coming here but on the bright side i don't expect a live service game to be even remotely good.

Apparently the people who designed Bioshock Infinite are not involved in desiging Bioshock 4.
Which makes the high quality of the BI sort of meaningless.
Instead of waiting for a almost certain to be pretty sucky sequel; play the first two Bioshock games. IMHO, The First game is the best of the series.

Nothing new; they didn't do Bioshock 2 either.

The designers of the original Bioshock were not the lead developers of the BIoshock 2, but they had a lot of input and Kevin Levine is listed as a producer. There seems to be NO Involment by the Bioshock team whatsoever in this new game.

I think that's what he meant, ie, Bioshock is so good it's better to let them rest as "quality over quantity" single player games, rather than ruin the franchise with over-sequelled "games as a service" micro-transaction laden bad sequels.
