i didnt play the game yet, only performancetesting last time but are the models/faces downgraded so much or not?

They all look great to me. Good levels of detail, rather good lip synching (if you don't have the audio lag, of course). I think Geralt looks like a grizzled old wolf, which he should. Triss, Yennefer, and Ciri are all lovely, with distinct expressions (ie it doesn't always look like they all have the same reaction script running under different faces - Yennefer's smile looks different from Triss', etc). There's good attention to detail. I'm sure you could join the ranks of people who wharrgarbl about something being different, but if you just want to know if they look good on PC, that's easy. They look really good.
