EVERSPACE 2

Updated to 1.2.40068 Incursions Hotfix #2 (Galaxy & Offline Installer)

Changelog from the official website:
Hotfix 1.2.40068 is now live!

Vesna and Steam Deck Prescott bug fixes incoming

Greetings, Pilots!

We have a minor hotfix going out today on all platforms. This fix solves an irritating issue stopping many pilots from completing all challenges on Vesna. Now, the bugged shield generators on Vesna can be accessed and destroyed.

Additionally, the update includes a Steam Deck specific fix that should stop EVERSPACE 2 from crashing in areas like Prescott Starbase.

Changelog Update 1.2.40068:

• Fixed that the “3-Shield-Generators” puzzle on Vesna could not be completed
       ○ Note: Players need to leave and re-enter the location or load a savegame in the location for the fix to apply correctly.
• Integrated community suggestions for translation improvements from Crowdin
• Fixed that some characters in Traditional Chinese subtitles were not correctly displayed
• [Steam Deck] Always use DirectX 11 (regardless of initial DirectX selection) to prevent VRAM related crashes

It will probably be a while before our next update, but that doesn’t mean we’re not listening! Please continue to report bugs and feature requests in our Discord and Steam forum. While we may not respond to every feature request or bug report, our community team reads every message.

As we work on future expansion content, we’re continuing to look into performance optimization opportunities. When we have more to share, we’ll be sure to do so!

See you in the stars!

Adrift Patch 4.71

May 31, 2024.

Hello everyone,

Thank you to everyone playing the No Man’s Sky Expedition Adrift, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 4.71, which is now live on Steam and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that could prevent custom starship textures from replicating correctly.
• Fixed a rare issue that could block redemption of the Ship of the Damned on other saves that also had the Leviathan.
• Fixed an issue that could cause discoveries with custom names to revert to their procedurally generated name after a save/load.
• Fixed an issue that caused dragging items on to a damaged or partially installed Personal Refiner to be treated as an attempt to refine the items rather than apply them to the repair.
• Fixed an issue that prevented various weather and hazard related objects (such as meteors, tornadoes, firestorms or lightning) from spawning.
• Fixed an issue that could cause players piloting some specific ships in third person to appear to other players as if they were dangling below the ship.
• Fleet expeditions can now be managed from the freighter’s fleet management terminal in the event there is no navigator present on the bridge.
• Fixed a number of starship texture customisation issues.
• Fixed a number of collision issues on the damaged starship base parts.

• Fixed a minor issue related to planetary tornadoes.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the claiming of some expedition milestones if one of the rewards upgraded a ship or multitool, but the current item was already at S-Class.
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from claiming the Ship of the Damned if they had permanently declined the freighter rewarded by an earlier milestone in the Adrift expedition.
• Fixed a number of minor text issues.

ΔV: Rings of Saturn

Updated to 1.52.11 for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Changelog posted by the developer in the forum:

1.52.11 - Rapid Delivery

Tetsuo HMX-2000I low-stress approval
Tetsuo Engineering has announced the approval of their HMX-2000I iron delivery mass driver for installation on low-stress hardpoints. This approval allows the HMX-2000I to be integrated into a wider variety of spacecraft, significantly enhancing the versatility and efficiency of iron ore transport and delivery in mining operations. While this powerful mass driver boosts throughput and streamlines the iron delivery process, it is important to note that the high rate of iron delivery could cause flight instability on non-spinal mountings.

Coherent Light releases new lens
Coherent Light, a titan in the laser technology industry, is expanding its horizons with the launch of their premium L-50F high-fidelity lens, designed specifically for high-end photography and reconnaissance applications. While the company has built its reputation on pioneering laser systems, this latest innovation showcases expertise in optics. Reconnaissance craft equipped with the L-50F lens will now be able to deliver both better resolution and a wider field of view. This advancement is crucial for detailed surveillance and mapping, enabling more comprehensive and accurate identification of ore deposits and spotting of asteroids.

Armstrong loses planned obsolescence lawsuit
Triskelion-Armstrong has been found guilty of deliberately using software to simulate damage in their AR1500-M salvage manipulators. This practice misled operators into believing their equipment required costly repairs or replacements when no real damage was present. The court's ruling mandates Triskelion-Armstrong to compensate affected users and revise their software to eliminate fraudulent damage indications. This verdict represents a significant win for miners and salvage operators, who can now expect more transparent and reliable performance from their equipment.

Maintenance logs
* Reversed the polarity of debris spawning. It's now much more likely for a big rock to shatter into multiple smaller fragments when force is applied, but it should preserve the desired tight spawning radius when mining with the excavator or grinder.
* Tetsuo Engineering managed to obtain approval for the installation of Tetsuo HMX-2000I on low-stress hardpoints.
* Adjusted dynamic physics simulation range settings to be less aggressive. Previously, the game could attempt to limit the simulation space in response to new objects being introduced too quickly, which, while it preserved good performance, could make the ice only appear in a narrow band around your ship. This could also lead to some weird ice formations as the simulation range was adjusted back and forth to find the optimal spot. The new settings are much more gentle and make the spawning seem much more natural while preserving the performance benefits.
* Updated ore graphics.
* Improved performance of encounter detection. Previously, when you made a lot of deals with shady entities, the performance of your game could degrade as it attempted to trace each deal you made. The shady activity ledger is much faster now.
* If you went straight from one established deal to a location of another deal of the same type, without visiting any other location between them, you could find nothing.
* Fixed refuelling speed for crafts you attach to your ship. Previously, it used ore transfer pump capacities, which are slower for most crafts.
* Saved games will not contain events that can not happen anymore. This improves loading speed. Old saves will be cleaned up automatically.
* Fixed the title menu being misaligned if you had a save with a long ship name.
* Fixed some of the big, complex moonlets experiencing runaway kinematic reactions, leading them to spin uncontrollably and break game physics.
* New asteroids will not spawn in close proximity to your ship anymore.
* You can now ask BBW to join their cause multiple times in one encounter. Beware that they might get annoyed by this.
* While you can still bind multiple keys for an action in the game, the HUD will only show the first key bound. This prevents the interface overflowing if you manage to bind keys that have long representations, like keypad keys.
* Improved physics performance for certain big, complex moonlets by over 1000%.
* General physics engine collision detection optimisation. Due to how our physics throttling system works, the most immediate effect for you will be the ability for the game to simulate objects further away from your ship. If you desire a better performance instead, make sure to lower the "physics simulation range" slider in the game settings.
* Certain ship and stations that denied you docking for some reason will allow you to dock again when you manage to convince them that they should. That makes certain illegal cargo exchanges, and bounty hunting, flow more naturally when you are performing the operations in close proximity of recipients.
* Having a rogue cargo container attached to your ship prevented other such containers from appearing.
* THI Cargo Containers will now follow you through an astrogation jump when executing the "keep formation" command.
* Fixed tooltips for some buttons on OMS that were not showing when using a gamepad and flickering when showing up.
* Fixed a tooltip on the astrogator tab.
* Sometimes, cargo containers and similar craft attached to your ship would boot up and attempt to escape on Enceladus. This included both the main menu as well as the "examine ship" sections of the Dealer and Fleet menus.
* Added AI inhibitors to racing drones and their illegal modifications. The drone will now shut down in direct proximity to any ship, just like any other autonomous craft. This can make certain events and encounters easier and will prevent such drones from attempting to escape when already caught with docking equipment. Previously, such a drone would only shut down after entering a cargo bay.
* Fixed phantom manipulator damage. If you had a damaged ship in a save at the time when the damage model of the manipulator changed in an upgrade, the manipulator misalignment damage could been transferred past the upgrade, but you were not able to fix it without replacing the whole ship.
* Jury-rigging misaligned Salvage Manipulator will now apply the fixes immediately and you won't need to bash the arm on another rock in order for the fixes to kick in.
* Updated translations.

Tunguska: The Visitation

Updated to 1.84

Changelog from SteamDB:

Graphics Upgrade, Part 2! And 3-Year Anniversary!

Today three years ago, on June 4 2021, Tunguska: The Visitation was first released on Steam. We have gone a long way! Three years of updates, six DLCs, gamepad controls, Steam Deck support, and NOW:

Woohoo! I'm excited to announce the second part of graphics upgrade - this time, terrains are finally looking better!

I have always struggled with the thought "why does the game look so bad during rain and overcast?" I got a lot of suggestions from fans and other game devs to improve the looks of terrains, in order to make the map look less boring during those non-sunny weather. But I was hesitant because, being not very good with visual art, I had no idea how to do it.

Eventually I figure out a way - I added four new terrain textures, and after a week of clicking away with my mouse, we now have jagged roads, rocky cliffs, and puddles for you to splash on. Check it out:

I also added a little hut by the Barn in Zernaskaya, because that area is just too empty. The hut has... some interesting surprise in it :) (If you have completed Haruko's assassination quests you'll know what it's about)

And finally, I fixed some issues with the water and got a nice new normal map for them. Looks a lot better now!

Other fixes included in 1.84:

• Fixed a problem with terrain normal map not showing up

• Fixed a bug with ghouls not investigating player's footsteps

• After completing Sidor's quest to take back the barn, as soon as you turn in the quest, the Bootleggers will occupy the barn... For now.

• Slightly spread out the enemies around the trailer house in Lake Cheko

• Made sniper lens effect a little brighter

• Shooting dead crows will no longer leave a bullet hole in the air

• Fixed the weird lighting inside windmills

Phantom Fury

Updated to 17384 (Galaxy & Offline Installer)

According to the 3D Realms Discord, this update brings the game on par with Steam. (Screenshot attached)

So here's the latest changelog from SteamDB:
PHANTOM FURY - Patch #2 LIVE

Hey folks,

We're pleased to bring you our second patch for Phantom Fury, you can find the detailed patch notes inside.

Patch #2 - Patch Notes

• Fixed an issue in "Chicago On Fire" where the game could crash while loading into a specific checkpoint under certain circumstances
• Fixed an issue in "Grand Canyon Facility" where players could get softlocked inside the Microstinger Testing Range if they shot the Fleshware Robots too quickly, causing the garbage chute to be locked until players reloaded to last checkpoint
• Fixed an issue in "Underwater Passage" where players could spawn at the start of the submarine section without a submarine, forcing them to swim all the way back to the beach of Chicago
• Fixed an issue where Arm & Suit Upgrades could be lost, if players died while on a vehicle, and reloaded to the latest save
• Fixed an issue where Arm & Suit Upgrades could be lost, if players reload to the first checkpoint while underwater in Underwater Passage, and then did a second reload to last checkpoint after reaching the first checkpoint on land
• Fixed an issue where certain Weapon Mods would get unequipped if they had recently reloaded to last check-point, or after continuing a save
• Fixed an issue in Grand Canyon Facility where players could get softlocked after clipping through the floor of one of the lifts
• Fixed an issue where ammo would sometimes stop regenerating for the Bile Breather or the Psychic Giant's Head
• Added audio to the Psychic Giant cinematic at the end of "Underwater Passage"
• Fixed an issue with Level Select where travelling to certain levels would not properly award players with an appropriate amount of Nanite Cores (Upgrade Points)
• Fixed an issue in Grand Canyon Facility where players could accidentally skip the Microstinger Rocket Launcher by solving the puzzle without picking up the weapon in the Microstinger Test Range. Players will now have to use the Microstinger to shoot the Fleshware Robots in order to solve the puzzle. We've also added a much larger quantity of ammo pick-ups added to the room to avoid potential softlocks from players who may run out of ammo.
• Fixed an issue with the Bile Spitter, Psychic Giant's Head and the HSKL-9M Tazer Mod where these specific weapons could break and no longer regenerate ammo, if the player used their alt-fire and then immediately mounted a weapon, like the Automatic Grenade Launcher, or the Mini-gun
• Fixed an issue with the Loverboy where its alt-fire would do 0 damage, if the player presses and holds main-fire while the alt-fire auto-aim is executing
• Fixed an issue with the Loverboy where it would ignore the first main-fire input after the player has fired its alt-fire, essentially forcing player to press main-fire twice after alt-firing in order to fire again
• Fixed an issue with the Bile Spitter where it would no longer regenerate ammo after players loaded an earlier save while the Bile Spitter had 0 ammo
• Fixed an issue where players' movement controls would break if they punched an enemy and picked up a weapon while the punch was executing, for example in Phoenix Medical Facility near the Stun Baton pick-up
• Fixed an issue where ammo meters would disappear from the HUD when switching between weapons that each had their own cooldown to show on the HUD (or when switching mods that had a cooldown on the HUD, like the Psychic Giant's Head or the HSKL-9M Tazer Mod)

- Replaced Pitchfork and Pickaxe-wielding enemies in Blok6147 with a new enemy type.
- Replaced Eviscerator Knights with a new Elite enemy.

- Slightly adjusted default controller keybinds.
- All staves received new light, heavy, and sprinting attacks.

- Staff melee attacks now deal Technomancy Damage and are affected by Technomancy Armor Rating and Technomancy Penetration.
