The goal is to make a stronger game with every update. Thank you for every report, clip, and message: we read them, we use them, and they help steer the Ark.

Until the next patch: keep the city rolling, keep making the hard calls, and keep pushing forward. Onward to the Ark!

Knights of the Chalice 2

Updated to 1.97

Changelog from SteamDB:

Knights of the Chalice 2 Version 1.97

Hi everyone! I hope you're well. Version 1.97 of Knights of the Chalice 2 has landed.

This update introduces the Full Screen Interface Scaling feature, removes the sprite-loading slowdown, adds a new sound effect for the Earthquake spell, and fixes a bunch of bugs.

• Added the new "Full Screen Interface Scaling" feature. You can set any scaling value between 50% and 300% in the Options Screen under "Display". The default value is 100%, meaning that no scaling should take place. In Full Screen mode, the new setting will scale all interface elements. The main view of the adventure map won't be affected. The scaling of interface elements will also work in the Module Editor. Please note: the new setting will not have any effect in Windowed mode. Thank you, Gabbek!!
• When loading a saved game, and your characters are displayed with animated sprites, the walk animation of your party members will now be preloaded to avoid the one-time slowdown occurring when you start moving the party.
• Added a new Earthquake sound effect: Sounds/Magic earthquake 2.wav. Also updated the Spells.sml file of the modules Augury of Chaos and Tutorial so that the Cleric and Druid spell "Earthquake" will now use the new sound effect.
• Fixed display bugs associated with the semi-transparent grid when it's activated.
• Fixed a bug in the "Character Creation - First Page Screen" when the selected gender is Male and you select a Mantis body type.
• Reworked the drawing function of the Local Map Screen to prevent a slowdown on very large maps.
• Added a new Search box in the "Select Token" box of the classic single-screen Character Creation interface.
• Module Editor: Fixed a source of crashes when using the "Undo" function after copy-pasting a creature that you imported from another module's creature master list. Also fixed a minor issue with the Creature Editor button "Append creatures from import".
• Module Editor (macOS only): Fixed a bug with the search function when searching for variable names or quest names, and a bug that could occur when listing a module's variables, quests and character achievements.

Tunguska: The Visitation - Enhanced Edition

Updated to 1.96-6

Changelog from SteamDB:

Reloading Mechanism Update

Over the years, there has been many requests from players to allow manual insertion of ammo into the gun in the inventory. Basically, if you equip a gun, open inventory, and drop ammo unto it, it only assigns the ammo type and won't actually put any ammo in it. The reason it's designed this way is that the game pauses when inventory is open, so if you are allowed to insert ammo into the gun while the game is paused, you essentially get to insta-reload whenever the gun runs out of ammo.

But it just doesn't feel intuitive when you can't drop ammo item onto the gun, so I must find a solution. The best answer I can come up with is that whenever you insert ammo into the equipped gun, and then close the inventory:

• If the gun is on your back, you get a insta-reload.

• If you gun is in your hand, you just automatically play the reload animation.

Either way, the game remains fair and square, you won't get continuous firepower and yet still have the option to insert ammo manually. And there's a net upside - you can refill your secondary weapon without having to hit Reload button when you pull it out, which had been pretty tedious during combat.

The tricky part is that I had to make a ton of changes to the logic to make this happen. And you know what happens when there are a lot of code changes - bugs! I tested reloading for two days and I'm confident that I didn't introduce any new issues, but please let me know if you notice any problems!

Other improvements added in 1.96-6:

• Fixed a bug with the 150 ohm and 200 ohm resistors, which disappear immediately when you drop them on the ground.

• Fixed a bug with batteries extracted from devices overlapping with other items in the backpack

• Haruko will start providing guide service after you complete any quests for her. Previously, you have to first talk to Alexei about her before she offers guides.

• Fixed a font issue with French where certain accented letters don't show up

(ø,ø): No changelog to be found for Control, seems to be a GOG only update.
Haven't confirmed yet, but I'm wondering if this might be the addition of an advertisement for Control Resonant.

Steam News Hub for Control has a Dec '25 post announcing Control Resonant's 2026 launch; SteamDB shows a new build for Control on 2025-12-18 with no details; and GOGDB shows the v1.32 build originating on 2025-12-30. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of changes to files or installer sizes.

Frustratingly, this strategy of updating old, stable builds simply to insert [sometimes intrusive] ads for upcoming games seems to be growing in frequency. Thank goodness for backup offline installers.

Dang it I hate that, if its a new item or quest to entice someone or the like for a new installment as devs/publishers used to do I could accept ,Heck even advertising a games dlc could accept ,not like but accept as its atleast for the same game

anyway will boot up Control on GOG in abit to see as I'm pretty sure a older GOG update had Alan wake 2 advertising on the start menu scene but could be misremember

Edit unless its elsewhere its not a new advert as still Alan Wake 2 advert in the opening menu/start menu
