Patch 1.7.33 fixes twenty bugs

We still have been mostly fixing bugs and this week’s patch fixes twenty of them.

On our discord server we have also started a discussion about the mid-game balance and ideas to make the end game more exciting. Come join us if you have any opinions about those!

Bug Fixes:

• Potential fix for sigils used to power machines that go missing from after switching levels.
• Repairs the smart camera setting.
• On PC you should be able to make a new save every 20 seconds.
• Small items that have multiple uses no longer stack in order to prevent incorrect consumption during journeys.
• Hides the number of spirit guide roots you have from the travel panel as this info is not needed anyway.
• If you have automatic face enemies switched off, you no longer keep facing inspirited thickets and similar enemies.
• All signets have correct assets when they show up in your hand.
• When the game spawns Earworm eggs, it no longer gives you a deed for harvesting them simply for being in the same area.
• Limits the number of creatures you can spawn to 32.
• You can no longer grab torches from sconces through walls.
• Accidental stairways to heaven or no longer generated.
• The interaction with ‘poorly hidden’ holes in the ground is more intuitive now.
• Adds a collider to the stairs down asset.
• Quest descriptions appear more consistently in the map dialog where you can commit to them.
• The button that allows you to continue after a quest ended, is disabled when the quest ended because you are dead.
• Haven no longer serves broken waybread.
• Raaf temples (and other locations) revealed by an inscription actually show up on your map.
• Valker is now a master of the falx so they don’t drop theirs so quickly.
• New potential fix for a blurry soft-lock.
• Your health is restored when you leave the tutorial area.

The developer’s answer to the question what the update is about:
For now, nothing, sorry, it was a silent update because it fixed an issue with a fan translation and it's mildly specific, once I resolve/replicate a few issues underlying, we'll be patching the game with the new config tool [available for all oses].

And we'll be adding global settings instead of per save, but like I said I want to resolve all issues first!

I was playing the game and I noticed a new character in the game, an invisible disembodied voice! When I was finally able to talk to it, I found out that it was my own message bottle character, only it was nearly invisible, being so tiny! An update of the Unity engine used by the game had caused some 3d models to import with different settings. So here's a new version for you, I added some other updates while I was at it.

• Made game window resizeable.
• Fixed bug in the crypt level where you could travel outside the playable area.
• Fixed message bottle and wizard hat size, they were ever so tiny!
• Mystery box server interface removed because of lack of use.

① German Voice Over
We experimented with automated translation for a complete german voice output for the campaign. Please give it a listening and tell us what you hear. Interesting how well that already works even though some sentences come across a little weird. For some it might surely be enjoyable. If not, please just switch back to the English voices.

① Ring System Improvements
By default you get the build ring, by clicking the right mouse button again. That is supposed to give you direct access to inventory, functions and multi tools and all construction options without looking for a free field to open the build ring.

• We also rebuilt the ring that appears outside of your build radius and made it uniformly appear the same way on all outer fields of the planet.
• shows the option to directly build a city center and tells you directly how much more people you need for a new landing permit.

② AI Improvements
So far the AI often ran itself into bankruptcy, e.g. by throwing out a lot of money on tech licenses, demolishing production relevant buildings that were recently built, to make room for other buildings, putting crafting efforts into items that are not urgently needed and quickly planting loads of trees. All of this and more has now been improved along with the algorithm to choose a city landing spot that fits well into the goals and values of the faction.

③ Planet Emission Sequestration
This comes as a definable value now. You can change how much emissions the planet's atmosphere and ecosystem can compensate and thereby how fast emissions will lead to a climate collapse.

④ More Construction Freedom
You can now build directly on fields with forests and rocks. They will be dismantled automatically. That saves a lot of extra clicks and time.

⑤ Relocate City Inhabitants
If you tear down districts the people in it will be relocated into other available homes. If there aren’t any empty houses the deconstruction process idles until you build new districts to provide room for your people.

⑥ List of Buildings
We optimized the panel with the list of buildings to show the info and values for a certain upgrade that you want to apply. That makes it clearer which benefits you’re actually unlocking by investing in your budget.

⑦ More Improvements
• You will now be informed when another faction has taken over parts of your territory
• We doubled the time an epidemic needs to spread because organizing 3 medicines can be quite devastating.
• Better visual warning from dangers in the city panel

• Infinite Money Bug fixed - sorry! ;D
• Tool overlays with fire at the temple
• Presentation of the build selector in the water fixed

I'm supper happy to announce the latest reworks/balancing changes are live on the main branch!

To help you guys understand what have been changed here is a list of the most important changes (didn't add everything, just the most important changes, but all the changes were added to the patch notes of the beta versions)

General

- Temporarily removed Sage's Card Star Blessing due to it causing many bugs.

Balancing

- Buffed almost all Epic Die.
- Buffed all Epic Die Purify 3 to Purify 6.
- Buffed almost all Neutral Die and removed dice that were feeling unnecessary.
- Decreased Forge Action low tier cost from 100 to 50.
- Buffed Cryptic Memento, changed it from a Black Hole Blessing to a Star Blessing and removed the Obscure drawback. Also decreased from 4 to 3 Max Corruption increase.
- Buffed Perpetual Clock, now it makes Mandatory actions not needed to be used to end player turn. Corruption dealt to player is not increased by any Corruption modifier.
- Buffed Brightful Stone, now it ignores Hollow Skin when applying Safeguard.
- Buffed Apprentice's Card, decreased from 6 to 4 Starter Die and increased Purification received by all targets from 6 to 10.
- Buffed Photon Glove, increased Purification dealt by Starter Die from 1 to 2.

- Reworked Shining Apparatus, now whenever a sentinel receives Corruption or Breaks, it applies X Radiant Bomb to that sentinel, where X is half of that sentinel Max Corruption (rounded up) instead of applying Radiant Bomb at the start of the battle equal the sentinel Max Corruption.
- Buffed Bright Resonator, now also at the end of player turn the enemy with least Corruption receives 1 Purification for each Light Shield player has.
- Removed Forge Light Shield die.
- Added Forge Barrier Balanced Die.
- Buffed Augmented Welding, now when applied a random enemy receives X Purification, where X is half of this sentinel Max Corruption.
- Buffed Mechanical Domination, now the die changed to Area Corrupt 1 won't be affected by doom until the end of enemies turn.

Austra :austra:

- Buffed Vacuum Wings, increased from 40 to 90 Dodge and decreases Dodge by double the amount of Corruption dodged.
- Buffed Apian Drone, now it also applies 50 Dodge to all sentinels at the start of each battle, increased Dodge decrease from 5 to 10 and now it also applies 1 Boost on player if the sentinel Dodges Corruption during enemies turn.
- Reworked Drifter Catcher, now it also applies 25 Dodge to all enemies at the start of each battle, the enemy doesn't lose all Dodge and decreased Purification from 45 to 20.
- Buffed Frantic Firefly, now it apply Confuse Multiplier to player if player already have 50 Brilliance.
- Buffed Auspicious Dandelion, now it applies 1 Eolic Divination to player every 2 turns instead of at the start of the battle.
- Buffed Indomitable Fan, now also whenever an enemy gets overcorrupted, player gains 1 Critical Multiplier.
- Buffed Dodge dice values. Add Draw 1 to many die faces.
- Buffed Critical dice values. Buffed Safe Die, now all die faces are Purify + Critical. Buffed Balanced Die, added Draw 1 to 2 Critical 8 die faces. Buffed Epic Die values and added Draw 1 to 3 Critical 10 die faces.

- Reworked Goddess Cartouche, changed it from a Black Hole Blessing to a Star Blessing and removed the Sentinel Torment drawback.
- Changed Tainted Khepresh name to Regal Khepresh. Buffed Regal Khepresh, changed it from a Black Hole Blessing to a Star Blessing, removed the Affliction drawback and now it also increase Relief applied by 1.
- Buffed Ghostly Lamp, now sentinels also trigger it.
- Buffed Solace Crook, now sentinels also trigger it.
- Buffed Hourglass Module, now it also applies 10 Dodge to player at the start of each battle.
- Buffed Bloody Solstice, now it doubles all effects applied by the player.

- Buffed Spinning Chanting, changed Risky Die to Balanced Die and added another Spinning Chanting die face. Now all the die faces are Spinning Chanting on Epic Die.
- Nerfed Refreshing Mantra, now it decreases Soult Heat by 4 when Refreshing Virtues.

- Buffed Orbital Renovation, added another Draw 1 to Revolution 1 die face, decreased bad die faces Corrupt amount and added 2 Unforgeable Corrupt die faces. Added Orbital Renovation Epic Die.
- Removed Redemption Inscription Epic Die. Changed Redemption Inscription Balanced Die to Safe Die, now all die faces are Redemption Inscription.
- Removed Retrograde Epic Die.
- Buffed Reversal Renovation, added another Draw 1 to Revolution 1 die face, decreased bad die faces Corrupt amount and added 2 Unforgeable Corrupt die faces. Added Reversal Renovation Epic Die.

Anomalies
Reworked Anomaly Levels:

- Anomaly 4 (Every 3 turns, apply Shadow Mantle to all targets) moved up 2 Anomaly and is now Anomaly 6.
- Added new Anomaly 4, at the start of each battle, add 1 Wound Hex Die into your draw pool.
- Anomaly 6 (Increase non-Bosses' Max Corruption) moved up 1 Anomaly and is now Anomaly 7.
- Anomaly 7 (Increase Bosses Max Corruption) moved up 1 Anomaly and is now Anomaly 8.
- Anomaly 10 (Every 2 turns, apply Ruin to all enemies) was replaced by Anomaly 8 (Enemies abilities are even harder).

Enemies

- Nerfed Stunned, now player next X Reroll actions will only reroll 1 die.
- At the start of draw phase, Ruin and Nefarious Pulse now triggers before Light Shield and Incorruptible is removed and Barrier is decreased, which means it can be blocked by them.
- Nerfed Lost Sentinel Tainted Reef Normal Battle Anomaly 3 and 10. Decreased Agony from 2 to 1 on both Anomalies and increased die faces.
- Nerfed Ostreons Tainted Reef Hard Battle all Anomalies. Increased all Ostreons Max Overcorruption by 1.
- Nerfed Sanctuary Parasite Tainted Reef Boss Battle Anomaly 10. Increased Vengeful Stab from 4 to 5.
- Buffed Doomed Astronomer Astropolis Ruins Boss Battle all Anomalies. Increased base Max Corruption from 110 to 130. Nerfed Doomed Astronomer, now Eldritch Influence only triggers when player plays a non-Mandatory Virtue.
- Reworked Profaned Tomb Ground Zero Normal Battle all Anomalies. Added starting Decay 1 and changed 1 Player Torment die face to Area Corrupt.
- Reworked and nerfed Voidsmith Ground Zero Hard Battle all Anomalies. Anomaly 3 and Anomaly 10 nerfed, changed Overcorruption from Player Corrupt to Area Purify 6. All anomalies reworked, now Aphotic Instinct starts the battle applying less Doom and the Doom amount applied increases every turn. Anomaly 10 nerfed, decreases Player Corrupt 0 + Paralyzed 3 to Player Corrupt 0 + Paralyzed 2.
