As for your suggestion, well, I hope that all of the account weirdness will be taken care of by the time I do go on my vacation :)

If I may ask, when will you leave?

I apologize. The problem ws supposed to be fixed, according to our webdevs. Perhaps they haven't applied the intended change to the code. I will investigate this internally and make sure it does get fixed ASAP.

I have composed a template message below. Feel free to use it, modify it, compose your own, whatever.
Thanks.

Hello,
Given the current state of the GOG website and its update notification system, I have found MaGog's daily reports of changes in the website's contents. and especially in the downloadable files, a valuable source of information. It has recently come to my attention that GOG has some system in place that apparently blocks IP's that access one's library contents too often. This system, the details of which are unknown, has resulted in the blocking of MaGog's IP (for 12-18 hours at a time) many times since December 2014, and even more so recently. The creator of MaGog (mrkgnao) has already contacted you several times about this, but apparently nothing has been done to somehow prevent MaGog from being affected by this. I would greatly appreciate it if someone from your webdev department could address this issue. Obviously, mrkgnao has all the technical details, should you need them. Firek should have them too.
Thank you.
P.S. Congratulations on reaching 1,000.

Question - under which section should we submit a support ticket, so that it gets adequate attention?

I'd use "Problems with website and user accounts", then "other" (or "accessibility issues" or "login issues")
I'll go with "Problems with website and user accounts" and "accessibility issues", makes the most sense given the nature of the issue.
EDIT: And done!

I've contacted support and sent it to "Problems with website and user accounts", then "other" and have just had an acknowledgement from GOG. Fingers crossed that they get this sorted soon.
