Early Access 0.4.2p1 is now live.
We fixed some pressing issues with Eel-ectricity and added thresholds so you can control when generators will start producing.

Energy

- If an energy grid has energy storage available, generators will now start producing energy when the energy grid falls below a certain threshold. This threshold can be set per generator in both the building panel and energy grid overview.
- Drifters will no longer jump out of the manual generators when another project has higher priority. This would cause them to get stuck running back and forth between a generator and a workshop that required energy.
- The Oil-Powered Generator now has a higher priority than the Wood-Powered Generator.
- Improved readability in energy grid overview.
- You can now select buildings from the energy grid overview.
- Added tooltip to maximum inventory slider in the item generator panel.

Fixes

- Fixed workshops not always showing they are turned off in the energy grid overview.
- Fixed energy grid overview having small discrepancies in power production / consumption totals due to rounding.
- Fixed energy overview overlapping with borders when adding too many buildings.

Othercide changelog:

The Beauty Will Remain Update is now live on Steam and GOG.
This update, containing a new customization feature and bugfixes, is accompanied by the Dressed To Kill - Cosmetics Pack, a paid DLC with exclusive design options for the daughters and their weapons.

A new customization feature:
A whole new feature has been added to Othercide: a customization tool. You will now be able to modify your daughters' appearance as much as you want. The weapons are also customizable now.

To do so, you will have to go to the daughters overview. You just need to click on "R" to customize your daughter. There, you can either rename your daughter or change her appearance.

Customization options in the update:

Hairtcuts: 25 variations common for all archetype (base game content, but ability to choose between them)
Eyes: 12 variations common for all archetype (base game content, but ability to choose between them)
Clothes: Base game variation + 1 additional : 2 variations in total per archetype
Weapons: base game variation + 4 additional : 5 variation in total per archetype
FX around the daughters:
- Shards FX : base game variation + 2 additional + disabled = 4 variations
- Mist FX: base game variation + 2 additional + disabled = 4 variations

Bug Fixes:

Enemies no longer fall under the level on some maps.
Some maps' areas were erroneously inaccessible, despite being supposed to be accessible. This is now fixed.
The AOE feedback of Maid “Destiny Shift” now correctly moves with the maid when she teleports.
Saves made on the last day of an era no longer create issues with the boss mission in certain cases.
Timeline should no longer show the wrong values under certain conditions during missions.

Mega patch - Monster hunt

We promised to support Chernobylite long after its release, and we intend to keep our word. This is the first in a series of free DLCs we have prepared for you. The optional missions will give you the opportunity to face new monsters and replenish your Chernobylite supplies.

Additions:

- New enemy: Feral Chernohost. Watch out! You’re not alone in this forest. This monster usually spawns outdoors. When you see its green, glowing head, it means survival is about to get real. Feral Chernohost is extremely fast and it’s hard to escape him running in a straight line - try running in a zig-zag instead.

- New Enemy: Overgrown Duster. It can spawn anywhere, as long as there’s a flat surface, so watch out for building rooftops or decayed vehicles. It’s small and attacks from a distance, which helps it blend into the background, making the monster even more dangerous. Overgrown Duster has also the ability to disappear.

- New enemy: Ancient Shadow. It usually spawns indoors and likes to hide in the dark corners of buildings, so bring your flashlight and don’t get lost. Ancient Shadow is slow, but don’t be fooled - the monster can gain speed by glitching when moving.

- New side quests: MONSTER HUNT. This new quest draws less frequently than regular food drops. After drawing it, the player must defeat one of the three monsters mentioned above. Each one can appear on any given level in three specific spots. Killing the monster ends the mission.

Improvements and feedback:

- The Black Stalker has been heavily redesigned. He is now actively looking for the player. When defeated, he won’t respawn on the same day, and his strength scales with the strength of the storm.

Technology:

- We have thoroughly updated the NVIDIA Ansel tool.
- Nvidia DLSS now allows you to turn on the “Auto” setting.

General:

- Sometimes the loot screen was visible for too long. We fixed that.
- Items brought by your companions when the inventory is full will no longer disappear, but will be placed on the ground instead.
- We have corrected the wrong names of some containers.
- An indicator might occasionally not show up on some containers, when the player was in sprinting mode. We fixed that.
- The lockpick icon would sometimes not display correctly. This has been fixed.
- When giving away meals, the companion status would sometimes not display correctly. We fixed it.
- The Black Stalker will now be highlighted by the PDA if we have the appropriate bonus.
- Fixed a very rare bug where one of the crystals on the fractal timeline would not change its colour, making it very difficult to return to reality.
- The poison that we could use to poison Kozlov would not disappear from the inventory. We fixed it.
- Meeting with Tarakan: We fixed the blocker that was triggered by very fast skipping through dialogues.
- Meeting with Tarakan: We fixed a blocker that was triggered by running in and out of the apartment without interacting with Tarakan.
- Meeting with Tarakan: Soldiers should no longer get lost in front of the Tarakan’s block.
- Voice in the woods: We fixed a bug that was blocking the interaction with the food crate when loading save at a very specific moment.
- Heist: Sometimes Igor was unable to use the explosives, even though he did have them. We fixed it
- Hermit: We corrected collisions to make it impossible to miss the key elements of the quest.
- Chain Reaction: We removed unnecessary collisions that were blocking the player.
- The opponent's death animation would sometimes break if the player has not witnessed it from the beginning. We fixed it
- With a specific combination of upgrades, the Shotgun would start to deal much less damage than it should. We fixed it.
- The zones should now be better marked when selecting missions.
- Enemies in the large building in the Moscow Eye level should now move normally.
- Fixed some objects disappearing while being too close to the player in the Moscow Eye and Pripyat Port levels.
- We fixed some collisions in several places in Heist level to reduce the chance of getting stuck and falling out of level.
- We have disabled the ability to climb certain objects in the prison level and on the timeline. They made it possible to go beyond the accessible area.
- Fixed the spot in Kopachi where the player could get completely blocked.
- Fixed the position of some dusters that were too far from the surface (Kopachi, Red Forest)
- We have improved spawning points available for some Chernohosts at the train depot in Red Forest. They should not be blocking themselves anymore.
- We improved the location of several resources in Pripyat Port level that were unintentionally unavailable for collection.
- During one of the events with Tatyana in Pripyat Port not all objects would appear/disappear as planned. We fixed it.
- We improved the implementation of the animations Pripyat Port carousels. They no longer should act as a catapult
- We improved streaming in the largest building of the Moscow Eye level. It could have been the reason for clipping on slower computers
- It was possible to leave Igor's room after turning on the photo mode. We fixed it.

Tropico 6 Update 16 – Vigilancia y seguridad

Fellow Tropicans,

Tropico 6 Update v. 16 ‘Vigilancia y seguridad’ has now been released on Steam. This update adds new content, such as a new Cold War building, the “Secure Mansion“ and a new modern military building, the “Overwatchtower ”. The Overwatchtower offers the ability to uncover hidden roles of passing Tropicans: nothing escapes the eyes of El Presidente!

Of course, Update v. 16 also contains some improvements and bug fixes. For example, we’ve addressed a bug that prevented the special “Make Party not war” festival from disappearing in the mission “The Final Party”. Similarly, a bug that meant the festival areas do not show the festival cooldown for the client has also been fixed.

Viva Tropico!

New Features

- A new Cold War building, the “Secure Mansion”, has been added.
The Secure Mansion provides a new living space for rich and filthy rich Tropicans (including its own bunker). The Mansion can be modernized to the Secure Mansion and the Secure Mansion can be modernized to the Modern Mansion. Also, you can improve the Secure Mansion with the “Increase Surveillance” upgrade. This gives the building a chance to uncover hidden roles of passing Tropicans.
No Tropican is safe from the watchful eyes of their rich neighbor anymore.

- A new Modern military building, the “Overwatchtower”, is now available.
The Overwatchtower is an improved and modernized version of the World War Watchtower. The buildings new work modes offer the ability to uncover hidden roles of specific agents with a high chance or all hidden roles of passing Tropicans with a lower chance.
Those pesky Tropicans will no longer have a chance to hide in the plain sight of El Presidente.

- Improved the display and calculation of Military strength for buildings and squads.

Bugfixes

- Prevented the special “Make Party not war” Festival in “The Final Party” Mission from vanishing when it hasn’t been held in all Areas at the same time.
- Fixed a bug that meant the festival areas do not show the festival cooldown for the client.
- Fixed the “Real Machine Gun” Upgrade for the Watchtower.
- Fixed the “Military Police” Edict not correctly changing the Crime Safety values for Military buildings.
- Towers now open the Military Strength-Overlay during placement, instead of the Crime Safety-Overlay, which is usually not affected by them.
- Fixed the “Right to Arms” Edict not changing affected values correctly.
- Fixed the Cathedral upgrade being overwritten by the Theocracy Constitution option.
- Fixed the manure production not getting cloned when copying a Ranch.
- Fixed the “Bigger Tanks” upgrade not getting cloned when copying a Fishfarm.
- Corrected an issue where the Camera didn’t move correctly to the Palace at the start of election speeches.
- Fixed flickering of a certain type of Stone after reloading a savegame on the Map “Between a Rock and a boring Place”.
- Fixed trees spawned by Stonehenge not being visible for the client in multiplayer.
- Fixed an issue where renamed Palaces being visible to other players’ almanacs in multiplayer.
