Book of Demons got another update or more of a fix to the previous update, from v1.05.211020 (50890) to v1.05.211021 (50897)

Looks like there was a nasty bug that slipped past out tests and affected players with non-latin characters in the save path. A hot patch just went live that fixed that issue. If you have been affected you might get "save corrupted" message on startup but your saves should be fine.

According to SteamDB the small changes mainly affect the launcher.

On Steam they complain about corrupted save games after having applied the patch.
I may be wrong, but the offline installers of Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition seem to have vanished into thin air, maybe someone knows what happened?

Offline installers don't just "vanish". What happens when you go to your library on the website and click the links there? Make sure, you chose the right OS and language.
If they are not there or you can't download them, write a ticket to support.
