BUTCHER was updated to "w.i.m.p_(gog-10)_(33398)". No changelog available yet. Not sure what this update is about. I've not really noticed any changes.

Close Combat: The Bloody First

Update v1.00.02 (24 October 2019)

AI no longer causes brief pauses when trying to find a firing position from which to attack a player unit.
New 'Free Camera' added to game options.
Basic skybox and horizon plane added for those playing with lower camera angles.
Unit icons and other in-battle UI updated for better display at lower camera angles.

Subsequent shot accuracy bonus increased for tank and anti-tank guns.

Unit exposure check now correctly handles one-way LOS with flares at night.
Corrected LOS and targeting check for separated soldiers.
Vehicles can no longer deploy inside buildings.

Changelog.

Only the English installers have been updated. The Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian ones have not.

Same thing also happened in the last couple of month with:

- Shadowgrounds Survivor

Someone needs to teach them about multilingual installers.

Yes, but there the language installers were actually different before the update (i.e. monolingual installers), so it is possible that they will update the other installers later, as they actually need to create new installers for these languages (or get them from the developer).

But in the cases I quoted, all the language installers were identical before the update (i.e. multilingual installers), so what GOG has done here is simply forget to link the other languages to the new installers. They should either update the links for the other languages, or (as they have been doing more and more recently) simply remove all the other languages from the drop down menu and leave only the English (which would prevent such errors in the future).

The new english installers for both Metro games are multilingual. You can change the language in the Options menu.

The english NW EE installer is multilingual, too. You have to do some manual work in order to get a different language displayed:

Indeed they are. The old ones were also multilingual.

But if you go to your library and choose to download any language other than English you will get the old multilingual installer, rather than the new one. That is the bug I was reporting.

That will certainly make the ones who constantly beg for them to be added to games to be happy for a bit.

I sent a lot of support tickets and I try to make sure that we get proper German versions here - but that is all me - not involved with staff. That being said, thanks for creating the support ticket. :)

If you do all that they should at least hire you on as an unofficial "consultant/etc", what with all the work you seem to do here. :)

I check this thread for updates(as gog isn't too reliable for that info) and saw something needed doing so I did it.....no biggie.
