JudasIscariot: ...
Judas, could you please tell us, if the King's Bounty bug mentioned by Geralt_of_Rivia below is fixed in the new installers or do you still need to revert to an old version to get past this bug?

Geralt_of_Rivia: Question to Judas: Has this bug been taken care of? If not the whole point of this update is moot since you have to revert to an older version to play anyway.

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Update 1.14.0 (16 October 2017)

Dying Light's Content Drop #1 – "Lethal Inventions"
Dying Light's Content Drop #1 brings three brand-new weapons alongside three special bounties needed to unlock these lethal inventions.
- New Axe – Fenris
- Bounty: Bloodlust
- Fenris gains bonus damage for the next swing whenever it cuts off an opponent's limb, which makes it perfect for fighting a stronger enemy accompanied by a group of weaker ones. Just cut off a weaker enemy's leg and gain additional power to attack the tough guy.
- New Knife – Kuai Dagger
- Bounty: Rise of the Phoenix
- A very light knife made of jade. It fits the hand so well and weights so little that it allows the runner to reach their maximum speed. Simply string parkour moves together to get an incremental speed boost.
- New Revolver – Last Wish
- Bounty: Ace in the Hole
- What makes the Last Wish special is her final shot mechanic. Land consecutive headshots to increase the firepower of your bullets. Score five headshots in a row for a massive 6th shot.

#### b083c (16 October 2017)

##### ART/VISUALS

* Improved the tooltips for hovering over equipment and inventory items
* Top / side walk and idle sprites for Soulkeeper!

##### BALANCE

* Paladin’s Sanctuary: Base duration 8 -> 7 turns, cooldown 15 -> 20 turns
* Soulkeeper’s Spiritwalk cooldown 10 -> 12 turns
* When rolling a total of “6”, Gamblers now use a curse attack that inflicts fear, sleep, or confuse
* The base effect of HuSyn’s Runic Crystal now increases your damage & defense by 15% overall when standing next to it (up from 10%)
* Champion ice shards and spinning blades are now considered ‘ground effects’ for various purposes, e.g. pet damage reduction
* Monster pets will no longer use HP healing abilities on the player. This was potentially a balance nightmare as monsters have infinite resources. Healer monsters will still heal fellow monsters and themselves.
* Monster pet HP is now capped at 9999
* Monster pets should no longer inherit self-destruct abilities
* Monster pets now use half of the player’s resistances and dodge % when they are attacked.

##### BUGS

* Shield Slam now gives up to 5 stacks of Divine Block, as intended
* Fixed bug where 4 and 5-mod equipment (“Artifact” rarity) were not being filtered properly in the Equipment view
* Fixed bug where, by removing mods from items via Dreamcaster, you could potentially increase certain properties infinitely
* Fixed some issues with equipment screen tooltips going off screen
* Added error checking to ensure that corrupted save slot data does not prevent _good_ data from being loaded
* _Actually_ fixed challenge values increasing on save/load with some items…
* Fixed mouse UI misbehavior on the corral monster stats detail view
* Fixed bug with Ancient Cube quest
* Fixed another cooking logic bug that cropped up in some weird places
* Fixed display bug with Gambler’s “Sharp Eyes” not showing up on the character sheet
* Fixed bug with the legendary apple-themed consumable
* Fixed bug where monsters in New Game+ would sometimes drop their monster-only weapons
* Fixed infinite crit but with Gambler’s “Sharp Eyes” wild card hand
* Fixed bug where Spellshaper evocations would change mid-cast sometimes
* If Erin has available rumors, you should ALWAYS be able to talk to her and get one. Previously, rumors would fail to generate sometimes.
* Fixed several UI bugs with the corral interface
* It should no longer be possible to remove the “perma charm” from Item Dream monsters

##### CONTENT/GAMEPLAY

* A new type of Orb has been added to the game that add SKILL MODS to whatever equipment you want! These modifiers will change and upgrade existing abilities in unique ways. These Skill Orbs are used in the Dreamcaster just like other types, BUT they cost JP instead of Gold if you want to guarantee that the mod will be added upon completion of the Item Dream.

* Thirty three (33) new Skill Orbs have been added to the game, representing 33 different skill upgrades/transformations - 3 per job. More will be coming! These Skill Orbs begin dropping later in the game, around the second boss and onward. By using these new Skill Orbs, you can greatly change your character’s build and gameplay style!

* At higher levels, you can now find rumors to defeat Boss Gangs. These rumors involve defeating a trio of challenging champions on any existing map in the game. The reward is guaranteed to be some kind of Lucid or Skill Orb.

##### ENGINE

* Added dynamic font support (needed for some UI things, and definitely for localization!). Non-English fonts are now possible, even non-Western!
* More code cleanup and refactoring for special effects and statuses that were previously hardcoded in a bad way

##### QUALITY OF LIFE

* Abilities that do not take a turn to use will now say “Free Turn!” in the description, instead of “CT Bonus: 200”
* The effect of the legendary consumable is now displayed in your flask infusion list
* The job change UI now notes learned abilities when you hover over them
* The job change UI also shows unspent JP in a given job
* Adjusted equipment defense comparisons to be more accurate (thanks Zhentar!)
* The floor name (upper left of the UI) now displays if the current level is easier or harder than average

##### WRITING

* Adjusted equipment rarities slightly. All non-legendary/set gear now follows this pattern: Common (no mods), Uncommon (one mod), Magical (two), Rare (three), Artifact (four or more). LEGENDARY gear now has a Rarity of Legendary instead of Artifact.

* * *

#### b082a (16 October 2017)

##### ART/VISUALS

* New HuSyn top/side idle and run animations!
* New SNOW tileset!

##### BALANCE

* Clones created by Shadow Stalk will now summon toward the direction that you attacked in
* Line of sight has been simplified for monsters that want to attack the player. If YOU can see THEM, they can see you - unless they have been blinded in some way. Otherwise, if you CAN’T see them, they CAN’T see you.
* Damage from Sludge Spirits’ on-death effect reduced by about 27%
* Player pets now take only 1/4 damage from any ground-based effects (acid/sludge clouds, fires, poison, shadow traps etc)
* Stamina/Energy costs adjusted for Edge Thane. Now, Verses and Highland Charge cost Stamina, while Songs and Furious Crescendo cost Energy.
* Increased drop chance of uncommon and magical seeds
* Edge Thane’s 2nd innate ability now also reduces the number of actions needed to increase song intensity. (The base # actions has now increased a bit.)
* Paladin max Wrath Charges increased from 3 to 5. However, base power of Divine Fury (per bolt) and Shield Slam’s “Divine Defense” has been decreased a bit.
* The stacking “Shadow Vulnerable” effect now refreshes duration when the target is hit with the debuff again. However, the debuff amount is reduced from 20% to 15% per stack, and the debuff duration is much lower.
* Newly created monsters in the Corral previously inherited weapon power equal to the average of their parents’ weapons. Now, they will do this and also gain a modest increase on top.

##### BUGS

* Fixed major bug with items gaining challenge value each time the game is saved and loaded.
* You should no longer get “appease monster” rumors for Beastlake Park
* Spice names should no longer double up (“Cilantro Cilantro”)
* Fixed soft lock that would sometimes occur at start of the 2nd boss fight
* Fixed various LOS bugs and edge cases.
* Possible fix at issue where screen would stay black after switching areas
* Fixed visual offset in the second boss fight
* Fixed bug with Edge Thane’s mastery ability
* Potential fix for rare issue where, if monsters broke a destructible and scooped up coins, they would sometimes drop empty stacks of coins.
* Fixed game error that occurred when dragging inventory items FROM your hotbar IN to your inventory on the Consumables page
* Fixed potential infinite money exploit with gem leaves
* Fixed prices of starter weapons when sold to the shop
* When toggling the player hud on/off, the low health screen border will also be toggled
* Fixed bug that allowed for using Tycho’s Thunder with an offhand item
* Fixed bug where the second Edge Thane innate bonus was not increasing the base duration of Songs
* Fixed bug where sometimes your corral pets would end up in the bottom-left corner of the screen, when creating new characters in the same slot.
* Fixed bug where monsters hit with a Monster Mallet would permanently lose their powers in some cases.
* Fixed bug where some monster passives were not displayed in the corral stats view

##### CONTENT/GAMEPLAY

* There is now a Wardrobe in town. Interact with it to change your outfit (character sprite) to any job you’ve been. NOTE: This is only operational on NEW characters as of this build.

##### ENGINE

* Yet more work on the field of view / line of sight algorithm, fine tuning and tweaking.

##### QUALITY OF LIFE

* When hovering over / examining monsters that have multiple status effects, effects of the same name will be combined into stacks
* When hovering / examining over any tile, actors of the same name will also be combined into stacks (i.e., Mud x8, Blazing Fire x3, etc)
* Added new callout from Jorito when you are capable of learning Weapon Masteries.
* The visual “Item Rank” of an item now changes when it is upgraded in Item Dreams

I think this is a bug.

Teenagent have no English talkie version, so it should be something like:

And now I want to play this game in Polish with English subs since I don't know any Polish (except from "Uwaga") but since this is a polish game this seems to be the best way to enjoy and understand it at the same time. Will have to check if there's a way to do this.

Edit: Does not work - seems as if the subtitles are included in the executable :(

It seems I've missed a couple of late updates yesterday...

Tooth and Tail

#### Patch 1.0.4 Butterbomb (16 October 2017)

I hope you're wearing your flame retardant undies, the Butterbomb is here.

Massive changes in this patch both from a feature perspective and balance
adjustments.

##### Campfires

First up: campfires have made their way to multiplayer! Campfires are like a
mini-mill/farm combo. They cost 60 food, take 30 seconds to build, and they
produce 1 food per second for 300 seconds. They do stave off starvation and
they do have to be destroyed to win.

##### Map Customization

Not just campfires though, desert, snow, and other environments are now mixed
into multiplayer matches!

On the world selection screen in unranked play, you'll see this list of
options for world generation. You can add more gristmills, make larger maps,
or play in a variety of environments featured in the Single Player campaign.
Now you can make your opponent fear Howling Vell as if it was their first time
all over again.

##### Massive Balance Changes

Our goal with the balance in this patch was both to mix things up and provide
more incentive to tech up out of tier 1 play. So many matches were ending in
the first 3 minutes that we had to make some major changes to Lizards, Toads,
Moles, and Pigeons.

* Boar - Get ready for the Butterbomb! Slower movement (67%). HP-20 (80) His flamethrower No longer does 4x damage to large structures like warrens and gristmills, instead does 2x damage to ALL structures. Upon death, he explodes in a 9x9 tile massive explosion that does 10 damage to units and 20 damage to structures. We made this change so as to make Uncle Butter’s gameplay have a little more texture and decision making. He’s a lit fuse, kill him before he gets to your base!

* Barbed Wire - HP+5 (30), any damage it deals out it also takes. Will no longer damage commanders. We made this change because there was no real way to clear Barbed Wire from the field with certain unit compositions. Now you can just tank the damage to make a path. Barbed Wire should see lots more play because of the follow two unit nerfs.

* Mole - No longer does double damage to structures. Cannot be sold after they have fully spawned. Damage -1 (2) HP +5 (30). This is admittedly underpowered now, but Moles were such a huge problem in high level play last patch that we had to nerf them. Expect them to get a buff next patch.

* Lizard - Range-1 (1). HP+1 (10) Having a ‘melee’ unit with 2 range never made any sense, and significantly reduced barbed wire usage. Making lizards range 1 makes barbed wire more effective against them and reduces their viability in large numbers. To go along with this nerf, though, we made a fix for targeting and patchfinding that will allow lizards to surround their targets more effectively in large numbers. They can still hit air units.

* Pigeon - Range -1 (1), HP -1 (4). Reducing pigeon range means that the max number of heal stacks is 9 rather than 25, which should reduce the Tier3+Pigeon Spam strategies we were seeing (while still leaving that somewhat viable).

* Toad - Apply equal damage to all in AOE (6 to all instead of 18 to single target, 3 to others). HP + 3 (10). Double damage to structures. Explode on own tile rather than target’s. While the previous meta had toad as the third element of a tier 1 rock paper scissors, this change is intended to make toad be viable versus squirrels, and to force your opponent to tech up. Exploding in their own tile means that they are more likely to hit 3 units rather than 6, so they should be marginally weaker versus lizards even though the lizard range was reduced.

* Snake - Remove ability to poison structures. It was always dumb. It's gone now. They are still good.

* Chameleon - Will not unstealth to attack the enemy commander.

* Owl - Removed death-bomb. Mice last 60 seconds rather than 30 (so they can build up to a maximum of 12 mice). HP +10 (50). Mice no longer aggro to enemy commander. Mouse damage -1 (2). Might be a sleeper hit here.

* Fox - Damage +6 (24). HP -10 (25). Cast time +0.25 secs (0.25), post shot movement freeze +0.25 secs (0.5). Another day another fox change. Hopefully she's easier to catch now that she has to stand still for a full 3/4 second around each shot.

* Badger - Fixed bug where her weapon spindown was taking as long as the weapon spin up. Minigun now spins down in 1 second, rather than 6.

* Machine Gun Turret - HP -3 (32)

* Landmine - Damage +3 (12, 4 to AOE).

* Warrens - Health per tier: 50, 75, 100 (was 60 for all tiers)

##### Other Stuff

* Version number now visible on main menu
* Players no longer spawn quite so close together
* Passworded lobbies fixed
* Crash in audio code fixed
* Fixed issue that would cause the match to end when a spectator leaves a match in progress
* Still hard at work on GOG crossplay, no news yet
* These changes will all be coming to the next PS4 patch, no schedule on that yet
Sudden Strike 4 -> see above.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar -> sorry for the missing link, but apparently it won't let me post it for some reason...

#### Patch 23098 (16 October 2017)

* The Blacksmith found a bunch of gold in his old apron: Cost to upgrade the Blacksmith has been reduced to 500g for the first upgrade and 2000g for the final upgrade.
* Vendors became a little less greedy and you can sell items to vendors for slightly more.
* Fishing comparison display is fixed. We figured actually seeing accurate numbers was a good idea.
* Perks should always unlock at level 6. If they didn’t unlock for you, you should see them unlocked with this patch now.
* Getting into combat while interacting with the Surveyor should no longer make you unable to interact with anything when returning from combat
* The name/description for the items required for Gully’s Ultimate weapon were flipped (Dragon Scales and Dragon Heart Phylactery)
* Smoothed XP curve for mid to late game to require less replay of dungeons to level up
* A wider variety of items will be available as loot in chests, especially in early/mid game dungeons when crafting isn’t as accessible
* Increased gold acquired from creatures, chests, boxes/crates. Also, fixed a bug where minor loot objects (crates, barrels, jars etc) were giving too little gold outside of the first dungeon and Strongmont.
* Various typo fixes
* Enchanting Shrine will be guaranteed to spawn in Path of Fangs and Deadwatch.
* Fix for a bug some people were encountering in which some of the Hunt bosses (sludge mound and king slime) never spawned and players became stuck
* The room containing The Shade of Belevros in the Iron Outpost should spawn a loooooot more now.
* Fixed a bug in which Alumon would actually NOT join the party. We found him and forced him back in your party if he wasn’t unlocked for you, and he should be appropriately leveled and not naked
* Lycelot Alpha Trackers realized they should sometimes whiff their Claw Barrage attack and players will be able to evade its strikes now like any other attack. Also damage of it reduced slightly.
* Fixed missing name/description for starting weapons for Knolan and Red Monika in New Game Plus.
* Fixed an error in 2 of Alumon’s perks (Dark Mending II and Sanguine Embrace II) adding 2x the healing they should have (sneaky Alumon)
* Increased the base level of enemies in NG+
* Enemies around the Dig on the worldmap will be appropriately leveled
* You should be able to turn in the Vessel of War and Glorious Vessel of War now if it was stuck for you (you will need to re-kill 10 enemies on your way back to the shrine where you turn it in though)
* Mantle of Aramus has been changed: Places a damage shield on Gully that absorbs damage. For the next 3 turns, anytime Gully receives damage, she will be healed.
* Clarification with the Defend II perk on Gully that specifies that the damage reduction is only when using Defend
* Stun Immunity duration increased to 4 turns from 3 turns after a hero or enemy is stunned.
* Re-Balanced Crit Damage perks
* Fixed a bug with the Ring of Lost Love’s thorns value
* Each Heroes’ Legendary Weapon power has been reduced slightly (still the best weapons in the game!) This fix isn’t retroactive, so if you already have the legendary weapons in that run, they will remain extra crazy.
* The final boss has grown in power
* Masteries have been rebalanced across the board
* Perks/masteries that power up based on overcharge use have been rebalanced
* Some of the Pirate Captains weren’t spawning, but should now spawn normally
* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused players to be stuck on the victory screen (especially against Lycelot Bombers)
* Some bosses will keep a tighter hold of their purses, not letting you pickpocket key items from them
* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused heroes who gained multiple levels at once to not receive all the perk points they should have. If you’ve been effected by this, you may notice some of your heroes have more perk points than they did before!
* Fixed a bug that prevented unpurchased hero skins from showing up in NG+
* Opening the Bestiary in combat with a controller sometimes caused it to auto close. This has been fixed. Using B(on xbox controller) or O(on playstation controller) will close it. (keyboard always worked and hasn’t been changed)
* Fixed a Bug in which you can get infinite xp from the king slime. We think that’s a little too much xp.
* Arena rewards were sometimes not being awarded. This has been fixed and if you have been affected by it in the past, when you complete another arena run, any unique items that you should have been awarded and didn’t receive will be given to you. (this means if you had been robbed of something that you could’ve gotten somewhere else like a flask, and you actually got it somewhere else, it won’t be given, but key items like weapons, trinkets, recipes, quest items etc will always be retroactively given)
* The boss of Deadwatch was incorrectly leveled in NG+ on Mythic Difficulty.

The missing German (and French) language version has been added to Deathtrap Dungeon. Thanks!

Either MaGog has gone bonkers, or GOG is in the middle of changing all (or many of) the download links for installers, patches, and goodies. Right now I'm forced to double-check the outputs of my script so expect some delays...

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
CrossCode 0.9.7 - The Last Area! (13 October 2017)

It's due time for another update! Today we finally release CrossCode Version 0.9.7 with a bunch of new content and features!

New Area: Sapphire Ridge
With Sapphire Ridge we now added the final outdoor area of CrossCode!
It's a medium sized area, comparable to Autumn's Fall, but stuffed with lots of caves and crazy environment puzzles!
You will also find a total of 4 new enemies, ready to be fought! Including new bugs. Be warned, Emilie.
Sapphire Ridge also includes the Cave Inn - it's not a full fledged town or village, but still a fairly large building.
Inside you'll find a lot of new offers for equipment and more!
Of course, Sapphire Ridge still isn't entirely finished. We still plan to tweak things and add more quests and NPCs to the area in future versions. But otherwise it's ready for exploration!

Trophies
With this version we finally release Trophies, which are essentially achievements! You find a list of all the trophies within the Synopsis menu.
You get Trophies for reaching certain points in the game, defeating certain enemies, mastering certain feats and more! Currently there are a total of 171 trophies that can be collected... at least partly!
Note: Trophies are currently not connected to Achievements, but we plan to do so in the future (at least for some trophies). Once it's done, your trophies will automatically synchronize with achievements. So getting the Trophies now means you'll get the Achievement in the future!
Second Note: Some of the Trophies might still be buggy and might not correctly synchronize with old saves. Sometimes, doing certain things in the game might trigger an evaluation so you'll get the trophies at that point. Otherwise, you can report those issues and we'll see how we can fix it.

More Quests
As always, there are more quests! This time we have 3 new quests for you that you can find in Rookie Harbor and Ba'kii Kum. Each of them features unique gameplay mechanics or even boss fights! So make sure to check them out!
Here some impressions:
A very unique quest featuring a floating "ball" in Autumn's Fall!
Fighting Turrets. Again. This time on the ocean.
A boss fight featuring the most popular type of enemies: Sharksters.

Upgraded Portraits
With this version we finally got around upgrading a lot of the portraits from older versions, including Captain Jet, that Blue Avatar, and Satoshi:
Additionally, we improved all the dark shaded portraits of generic NPCs, adding more details and variations to more closely match the NPC:
We still plan to add more variations in the future.

More Stuff
This update features a couple more smaller changes:
- The info/nerd hub in Rookie Harbor has been overhauled and features new NPCs to explain all the things to you!
- Lots of sound improvements especially for enemies. Try fighting the Faj'ro Temple boss again!
- Improved German Translation extended - all main story dialogues until Temple Mine have been overhauled!
- You can finally enter the Pub in Rookie Harbor right next to the teleporter at the sea.
- You can now adjust some new graphic settings in the video options section. Those include toggling particle effects, weather and lighting.
- More map pins variants have been added for arrows. Also the padding between pins has been decreased.
- Various map adjustments to Autumn's Rise.

More Stuff... but HIDDEN!
Just in case you wonder why this update is relatively small: we've been working on a lot more content in the background. Content that's relevant to the final plot. Since we don't want to release any more story until version 1.0, the current update turned out rather small. The same will be true for the next update to version 0.9.9. However, in turn you can expect a huge update once we release the complete story. That way, you can enjoy the rest of the story in one go!
In other words: Sorry for the small update, but hopefully it will all pay off once we release version 1.0!
And that's all for this update! We hope you have fun with CrossCode version 0.9.7!
And now let the bug hunt commence!
You know... the one in Sapphire Ridge... and the one in the code. x_x
