Expeditions: Viking has probably changed

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]

(Continued from last post)
Other changes
- Added icon tooltips to the Tinkering menu
- Injuries now deteriorate in combat with a probability based on how long the character has been incapacitated - characters can never die outright in combat, however
- Injuries now deteriorate during camping as well, and we've added some UI logic for this to work - fatally injured characters can die when you make camp if left untreated
- Increased injury penalties
- Tweaked injury settings to allow groin and chest punctures and eye trauma
- Reduced the Armour-smithing level of every blacksmith in the game by 1
- Made the faction reputation number show up even when your faction reputation is Neutral
- Added a menu option for disabling reflection probes so you don't have to mess with the config
- Made the farmer in Skerninge and his wife lie on the ground to match the description text
- Added thrall deco characters to the homestead depending on how many Slaves you have (up to about a dozen)
- Added a Medium reputation increase if you complete the Rats quest peacefully
- Reflection probes will now automatically be disabled the first time you launch the game on an Intel videocard, and you'll get a pop-up about it - you can manually re-enable them afterwards if you'll risk it
- Tweaked the morale changes in the initial conversation with Maban so they're more intuitive

Bug fixes

Stability and performance
- Fixed one more set of crashes related to loading characters into the scene
- Fixed the unreproducible issue some players had reported where the game would crash at the end of camping and potentially at the end of a fight
- Added check so corrupted fog of war files do not prevent loading scenes
- Made some optimisation in the level loading

Quest logic
- Fixed the Ab Urbe Condita side quest hanging around in your quest log even if you choose an outcome for Chester that causes Fabian Quintus to leave, so you can't complete it anymore
- Fixed a bug whereby Myrddin would not spawn in the stone circle if you entered his cave instead of bringing Cillian directly to him after the rescue
- Fixed a spot where you could get stuck after the battle for Yngilwood
- Fixed a bug where you could start the Snakes Among the Trees or Lost Hunting Party side quests during the Battle of Yngilwood if you hadn't started them previously
- Fixed the fight at the entrance to Jelling potentially repeating with no enemies if you leave the town through the hidden tunnel and then attempt to re-enter it from outside
- Fixed an issue where Grainne would sometimes appear inside Caustantin's hall after the wedding when she wasn't supposed to
- Fixed a bug whereby you could no longer free the Yngilwood Scout's loved one in the York Dungeon if you chose not to do so the first time you were given the option
- Added a fade-out if you sentence Geirmundr in Orkney to the blood eagle, during which he'll be despawned
- Fixed the non-interactive parts of Geirmundr's "camp" in Orkney also highlighting along with the interactive parts
- Skallagrimr and the other thegns will now disappear from Steinn's house once you complete the first of the Viking ending quests
- Received and implemented the Russian and French versions of a single branch of conversation with Hulda that had been missed in the original localisations for those two languages
- Fixed the higher difficulty-related completion achievements not unlocking the lower levels
- Fixed being able to interact with the haystack behind Erlingr's farm after the fight if you already set fire to it once
- Fixed the fire in Erlingr's farmhouse persisting forever (it now stops once the quest is closed)
- Fixed most of the dead characters who were supposed to show up as ghosts in Grimnir's Helheimr dream not showing up
- Fixed Olbjørn and Grimkell's character spawners creating a very long delay in loading the goodbye scene in Skjern if they were killed on Holmgang Island
- Fixed Maucolyn not being set as immortal if you encounter him at the village after raiding the monastery, which could result in you speaking to a very clearly dead man
- Fixed Conall mac Taidg's death variable not being set, causing some narrative inconsistencies
- Fixed an error when teleporting the player party to waypoints in conversations which showed up if you lost the fight against Maucolyn in front of the village
- Fixed a bug whereby if you set an ambush for Osred's men in The Mercian Connection and leave any of them alive, the fight in front of the Roman tower wouldn't begin
- Osred's spy token will now be removed from your inventory when you show it to a scout in Yngilwood
- Changed the logic in Torfinn's tree conversations a bit to make the quest more robust
- Reduced the trigger radius on the sewer tunnel conversation in Chester to be what it's supposed to be

Skills and items
- Fixed a bug that was causing characters to play their incapacitation barks at entirely the wrong times during combat
- Fixed the highest rank ability of each skill not displaying its action type in its tooltip
- Fixed several issues with the implementation of Gungnir's special property - the weapon will now damage enemies in the two hexes in front of you, three if you're using Extend
- Fixed an issue where pre-damaged looted items would be using the current Salvage value to calculate tiers rather than the undamaged one
- Resistances are now capped at 100% in the UI
- Fixed Adrenaline Junkie applying its bonus as soon as a character is at less than max health, instead of only when they drop below 20% as described
- Fixed the missing icon for the British silver cross talisman types
- Replaced an old hack to prevent non-Vikings from getting the Dane-Axe skill with a more general solution that checks the nationality condition for all skills before assigning them (this will also prevent non-Vikings from buying Galder, which they cannot use anyway)
- Removed the track quest input from all contexts except Default (which will stop it showing up in the other sections of the input bindings)
- Fixed the Amulet of Macha not getting its special property correctly (this fix is not retroactive, if you already picked up the Amulet of Macha, it will remain useless - however you can give yourself a new, working amulet with the console command giveitem party Talisman_Macha)
- Fixed a 10-second pause caused by a timeout if a Parrying character is Stunned and subsequently attacked; all immobilisation now cancels Parrying as well as Hypnotised, Interrupting, Panicked, and Ready
- You can no longer parry attacks from weapons with reach from 2 or more tiles away
- Fixed missing sound effects on the Parrying animations
- You can no longer trigger an execution with any weapon type other than a sword
- Fixed a pretty unlikely combat timeout that would happen if Condemned characters took fire damage
- Fixed the Tactical Move button being selectable even if no attack action was possible
- Fixed Stunned animation not being reset if a character is defeated while that animation is playing
- Fixed the wolf mothers' Nuzzle ability placing the wolf inside the incapacitated wolf's tile instead of adjacent to it
- Fixed wrong health displayed in the UI when using Nuzzle or Revive
- Fixed the Sacrament ability tripling ally resistances instead of doubling it as intended

Other fixes
- Fixed certain music tracks being controlled by the main volume slider instead of the music slider
- Fixed the input system overwriting user settings with the defaults in some situations
- Removed Crouch Control from the input settings
- Fixed non-lethal attacks being able to proc critical hits
- Fixed certain blacksmiths being set up with a higher armour-smithing rating than is actually possible, which broke the UI
- Fixed bug where an occupied campsite would be marked as captured when entering the campsite but then reloading the previous saved file without even playing through the fight
- Fixed an issue where tinkering items in camping might not be loaded properly by the save system
- Fixed a missing line of subtitles in the intro cinematic in English and English (Norse Names)
- Fixed the player's ship reverting to the default sail colours in Orkney
- A loading screen will now be displayed while loading the main menu after the credits
- Fixed dead follower pop-up appearing during loading screens if you made a save after a follower had died in the scene and then loaded that save

- Removed a lootable barrel from inside a house in Perth
- Added ability icons for the wolf abilities so they don't show up as white squares when you look at wolves with the character info panel, and added explanatory tooltips for them as well
- Fixed a weird-looking tree in the Britain forest menhir campsite

[Part 7 of 8]

---------------------------

Slime Rancher [In Dev] has probably changed

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch 0.6.0c (19th June 2017)

The Glass Desert
- The Glass Desert is the biggest and most challenging zone we’ve ever added to Slime Rancher! Featuring new slimes, resources, and unique challenges, the Glass Desert has something for every rancher brave enough to explore its sweeping dunes and secret ruins.

Firestorms
- The monolithic glass structures in the Glass Desert can cause a terrifying phenomenon known as firestorms. Believed to be a sudden disruption of heat from below the surface, firestorms produce massive fire columns and expel flaming crags of debris. If you’re exploring the desert when a firestorm goes off, it’s best you take cover!

Oases
- In order to fully explore the Glass Desert and collect all the slimes and resources within it, you’ll need to bring life back to it in the form of oases. Oases protect you from the harmful effects of firestorms, but you’ll first need to bring them to life before you can harness them. Search the ruins within the desert…

Mosaic Slimes
- The mosaic slime gets its name from the glittering array of glass tiles that cover its body. This glass produces a similar anomaly to those found in the desert itself, making the mosaic slime beautiful, but quite dangerous.

Dervish Slimes
- A dervish slime is a swirling, whirling bundle of energy in slimy form. Dervish slimes are commonly found in the Glass Desert, cruising across its dusty dunes at high speed atop little whirlwinds. Just don’t let them get too agitated, they have a lot of emotions swirling around inside them that might wreak havoc on your ranch.

Tangle Slimes
- Though the tangle slime may look innocent with its wide smile and colorful flower atop its head, it's actually a fearsome predator with a big appetite for tasty meat. The tangle slime earned its name from the twisting vines that it can produce to grab things in the environment. It also can produce a noxious pollen that makes slimes sneeze! It’s adorable but makes them quite agitated.

Fire Slimes
- Fire slimes are a rare breed of slime that lives on ash. Fire slimes will eat just about any food, but not without it being burned into ash first. The only way to feed a fire slime is to use an incinerator with an ash trough upgrade.

New Resources
- The silver parsnip, prickle pear, and painted hen and chicks can now be collected in the Glass Desert, the new favorite foods of the mosaic, dervish, and tangle slimes. Three new Slime Science resources have been added that can be found with extractors in the Glass Desert: Silky Sand, Glass Shard, and Pepper Jam.

Other Changes:
- Starmails from Casey have been overhauled to reduce feelings of clinginess, be less dramatic, and fit more with the tone of the game. However, the conclusion to the story remains unchanged.
- The Ancient Ruins have been expanded to connect to the Glass Desert via a special mechanism.
- A beautiful, new skybox has been added that includes dawn and dusk lighting and real time cloud formations. And the moon! Let me tell you, it's the best.
- Garden crops now have a grow-in animation because they saw how fancy the new skybox is and were like, ‘come on Monomi Park! Gimmie some love here.’
- Torches have new fire effects.
- New achievements have been added.
- New Slime Science gadgets have been added, including more teleporters and warp depots, a potted tactus, more gordo snares, Glass Desert deco, and other advanced versions of existing gadgets.
- New 7Zee Rewards Club rewards have been added to existing ranks, including the handy Market Link, Ultra Dash Boots, and the Golden Sureshot.
- Two new gordos have been added to the Moss Blanket and Indigo Quarry. One of them is quite mad. There’s also some new ones in the Glass Desert!
- Gordo eat requirements have been reduced. Or has their food simply become more fattening? No one can say for sure.
- Vacpack Upgrades obtained via the 7ZRC now show up in the Vacpack Upgrade shop as ‘sold out.’
- Gold plorts can now be deposited into the Refinery. I wonder why…?
- Extractor rare item drop rates have been increased across all extractors.
- Quantum slimes can no longer merge with a ghost in a foreign corral. The purpose of this change is to make quantum slimes a little easier to manage. They can still ghost out of their own corral, but will never ghost into another corral on your ranch.
- Fabricated teleporters now show their destination like static teleporters.
- Plort icons on the Plort Market are now de-emphasized if you haven’t discovered their zone of origin yet.
- Small tweaks to Options UI layout to better accommodate various languages.
- The incinerator has received a visual overhaul and has a new upgrade, the ash trough, that is used for corralling fire slimes.
- Changed the puddle plort logic to match puddle slimes in order to reduce frustration when dealing with them outside of water.

Bugfixes:
- Fixed bug where saving before getting Thora’s first Range Exchange offer would immediately give you said offer on game load.
- Fixed bug where flying phosphor slimes only moved north east. The great phosphor slime migration has finally ended and they are now free to fly wherever they wish.
- Fixed bug where slimes present on the Ranch would be hungry and agitated despite plentiful food available in their corral. Hallelujah!
- Fixed bug where dash boots were not nearly as efficient as advertised. Efficiency increased and advertisement reduced to meet in the middle.
- Fixed bug where honey plorts weren’t always considered extra-tasty by slimes. Tastyness has now been increased by 34.68 tastigrams.
- Fixed bug where some achievements could re-announce their awarding on game reload.
- Fixed bug where puddle slimes would sometimes disappear when leaving them alone, especially on the Docks.
- Fixed issues with puddle slime movement.
- Fixed bug where sound effects could continue to play while the game was paused or the player was in the house.
- Fixed bug where the rad camera effect could sometimes be disabled while inside a rad aura.
- Fixed a bug where vac-ing a non-tabby largo would give them tabby stripes. How did we not catch this sooner???

That wraps up v0.6.0! We hope you enjoy this update and the unique features it offers. Slime Rancher has been quite a journey for us and we’re excited to soon be leaving Early Access and into official release, and then the exciting content that follows!

June 13, 2017 - Slime Rancher v0.6.0b

- A small patch was issued today to address some issues related to the Glass Desert Update release:
- Reduce skybox cloud complexity on lower graphics settings to boost performance
- Replaced a broken treasure pod that awarded nothing with one that awards gold plorts. Since some of you may have already opened this pod, we added another treasure pod in the desert with gold plorts too :)
- Added some additional resources in the Glass Desert to make the introductory experience a little smoother
- Adjusted some colliders to prevent clipping issues
- Adjusted a few decorative objects in the Glass Desert
- Increased the time between firestorm breakouts in the desert
- Fixed incorrect favored-by listings for Silver Parsnip and Prickle Pear
- Fixed missing description for Prickle Pear
- Fixed bug causing music not actively being used to use much more memory than necessary, which could have lead to performance problems and crashes.
- Fixed bug where tutorial radar markers could get stuck.
- Fixed bug where you could re-vac ancient water blobs (and water blobs) shot from the vac.
- Fixed some bugs with distant geometry (LOD/Proxy bugs)
- Fixed a bug causing fire slimes to not periodically spawn during firestorms. See, they’re not entirely a bad thing.

June 15, 2017 - Slime Rancher v0.6.0c

- A small patch was issued today to address some issues related to the Glass Desert Update release:
- Changed some desert terrain slightly to improve player movement.
- Rotated one mosaic plort statue to be easier to hit
- Added a few more decorative objects in desert to help make different areas a little more identifiable.
- Made firestorm effects and music remain active in more areas of the desert.
- Made firestorm effects timing more precise.
- Updated the Main Menu to use the new skybox.
- Improved chicken efficiency to improve performance. And because an efficient hen hen is a happy hen hen.
- Added two new places to build Slime Science gadgets within the desert.
- Fixed bug where some tangle slime statues would reset to being unfilled on game reload.
- Fixed bug where fruit on garden trees could sometimes appear too low on the tree.
- Fixed bug where garden patches could sometimes end up with no crop but not allow the next crop to be planted.
- Fixed bug where small items around the oasis plant would rest just under the visible ground.
- Fixed typo in one of Ogden's Range Exchange greetings.

Patch 19968 (20 June 2017)

- Greetings! Along with the Crimson Court DLC launch, we have made a variety of improvements and updates to the core game, which will be available to all users.
- Ok, straight up we know you want detailed patch notes. We love making them. But with everything going on around the DLC launch, we couldn’t bring ourselves to go back through every commit log from the past 5 months for the base game. We might’ve forgotten some stuff. Call us lazy, call us exhausted. We’re sorry, and we love you.
- Character class balancing and adjustments! Highlights include Crusader’s Bulwark of Faith, Highwayman’s Tracking Shot and Open Vein, Bounty Hunter’s Hook and Slice (Now, Caltrops!), Leper’s Intimidate, and maybe the biggest of all: Occultist’s Wyrd Reconstruction (now usable in any rank!).
- Comprehensive trinket re-balancing: you’ll notice not only stat changes, but rarity/tiering changes as well for some trinkets. Thanks to Maester Silvio for his contributions!
- Added Horror (Stress DOT) to a few monsters sprinkled around the dungeons...
- Added Laudanum -a powerful tonic to combat Horror, available at a Provisioner near you.
- Revised improper quest rewards for Cove boss quests to give higher rewards.
- Inexplicably, you can now enter the dungeon with less than a full party. We advise against it!
- New Affliction act-outs! Experience the mayhem and tomfoolery of characters attacking each other and sometimes rarely even forcing a retreat! (Don’t hate us too much.)
- High torchlight levels now properly grant dodge bonus to heroes.
- Combat skill tooltip optimization
- Bug fixes and stability improvements.
- Soundtrack: We have updated the Soundtrack to include all new tracks from the Crimson Court at no charge. Thanks to our composer, Stuart Chatwood, for this! If you haven’t purchased the Soundtrack, get on that!

HERE’S TO YOU
- Your support of Darkest Dungeon has been integral to our continued success, and we at Red Hook wanted to thank you from the bottom of our black hearts. We hope you’ll consider picking up the Crimson Court DLC, and experience all the new horrors we’ve cooked up, along with the Flagellant playable hero, and the new Districts Hamlet upgrade system. We’re passionate about our game, and are excited to continue to support and expand it even further!

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch 1.100.0 (10 June 2017)

CHANGE-LOG
- Added the Bounties system
- The Personal Logs has a new tab called "Bounties" where you can read more about each target.
- The key is to see in which region a bounty target is active.
- Get in that region and look for the bounty's lackeys. They belong to a special faction called "Liberated".
- Beating the lackeys into a pulp will reveal the hiding location of their "boss".
- Kick the boss in the proverbial behind and claim the reward.
- Added full support for additional downloadable content (the technical bits work similar to mods).
- Added the DLC section to the game launcher.
- Added a couple of new player portraits (both male and female).
- Carriers buffed to make them more usable.
- Fixed an error related to fighter wings not being properly read from ship template files.
- Your fleet will no longer jump in to help you out while you're fighting in the Gladiatrix arenas.
- Long news titles (two lines) are now properly centered on their corresponding list items.
- Fixed a couple of faulty enhancement bonuses that reduced instead of increased some light weapon stats.
- Fixed an error that would manifest on the Skills/Perks panel when using gamepads.
- Pressing the Esc button on the Customization screen now asks whether to save the changes or not (if any change was made).
- In some cases, the game could get confused and switch to the Drydock panel from the System / Equipment trader. This no longer happens.
- Damage to Veteran bonus is now named Damage to Warmasters.
- Fixed an error that would make the game launcher log grow in size indefinitely. It didn't get properly purged of data.
- Opening the Personal log screen automatically switches to the Bounties tab.
- In some cases, news text was cut off. This no longer happens.
- Several changes done to better support Xbox 360 controller

MATERIAL EDITOR CHANGE-LOG
- Added an alternative camera movement mode
- Switch to the mode via the checkbox in the Tools panel.
- Rotate the camera around the focus with the middle mouse button.
- Move the camera using W-S-A-D or the arrow keys.
- Move the up/down using R/F or PageUp/PageDown.
- Roll the camera using Q/E.
- To speed up movement, press and hold the Shift key.
- To slow down movement, press and hold the Tab key.
- When clicking on the Editor screen while a dropdown menu is open, the dropdown will automatically close.
- Drag and drop a texture file into the Editor screen to reload it in memory. Makes iterations quicker.
- Removed a number of redundant options. They weren't real options, just dead pixels.

... and to think it got changed in Galaxy on the 2nd of June. It's pretty clear now that by looking at the Galaxy builds you can predict the offline future, sometimes even several weeks ahead.

Like the new Cossacks 3 build (1.6.4.77.5351), that's probably going to show up in a couple of days. Because offlines take time™ ;).
