PraetorianWolfie: I guess what I'm saying here is basically I hugely appreciate their devotion, development and maintenance work on the title, and if you report an issue to them (like you did above) I'm quite sure that they're going to fix it as soon as it's possible.
I completely agree and they already tried to fix the issue in question with the actual update.
Unfortunately it did not work and for whatever reason (as I have been just told) the update also did not fix the ingame achievements even though we already figured out the problem and told them how to fix it (it is just an ini entry that's missing). Why they did not use the solution provided really confuses me.

New Patch, New Fix, and a Little Gift
Hello detectives,

Due to the license agreement between us and Nacon coming to an end, we needed to release a patch that updates the copyright legal lines and credits within the game. Unfortunately due to this change, any save files that you might currently have will no longer properly work.

However, we do have two workarounds prepared for you.

First one would allow you to download the save games we have provided for you. In the link below, you will find save files for all the cases, as well as instructions on how to install and access them in the game.

The second workaround is to access your own save games from an older build of the game. Again, in the same link we provided above, leading to the Frogwares support site, you will find instructions on how to access your save files from another build of the game by editing the game’s Steam settings. This solution is provided for 30 days after that we will remove this branch.

We know that this is a bit of an inconvenience, so to make it up to you, we want to give you a little token of our appreciation.
