Yes, this brings the PC version of the game up to version 1.2 :D
Ah ok. I just posted the version numbers in the file names, the new installer is still downloading. My Internet connection is not the fastest.

If you're interested in seeing the changes for version 1.2, I made a sticky thread in the game's own forum.

Of course I don't doubt the GOG team's godlike brilliance but... couldn't you guys sometimes adjust the version number to the one of the game? 1.1.07 = 1.2? That confuses us lesser beings. o_o

I guess that you guys have your own version numbers because you may occasionally apply updates of your own to the GOG release, so the version number would sooner or later get "out of sync" either way but couldn't you for example go for 1.2.0.0 now and switch the version number to 1.2.0.1 in case of a minor update or something?

It's not that big an issue but especially in case of Alan Wake I absolutely wasn't sure whether the GOG version was up to date. Also the guys from The Patches Scrolls have a hard time doing their work because of you guys. ^^

Could you, pretty pretty please with the fruit of your choice on top, forward a request for four-digit installer version numbers on the game collection subpages to the website team?

Oh that would be great, only showing the the first 3 digits can be quite confusing.

Speaking of which - you could edit your list so Tiny & Big says 1.1.0.7 now, even if it still says 1.1.0 on "my account", right?

Updated, I now have two versions downloaded. The new disk image is slightly smaller than the previous one.
Retro City Rampage was also updated to version 1.04 today :D
The new Retro City Rampage installer is a new version of installer for GOG. The text and images on the installer are laid out more cleanly and it installs to C:\GOG Games\... by default instead of C:\Program Files\...

It's a bit cleaner.

That's convenient, this way newbies will have less issues because of Vista/Win7 UAC system.

Curiously I have not had a single issue because of the "program files" folder. Is this only a problem if you don't have admin rights?
