Account button missing on FF 47.0 . I just came here to report this - guess I was not the only one ;)
It is working on main page and on game page but not in the community pages.

Account button gone for me as well on both Firefox and Chrome. Had it on Chrome for a while today, but it's just recently disappeared.
I also have the missing Account button problem.
With Galaxy is anyone else having a problem loading the Forums page? The loading icon just keeps spinning.

Update: I just updated to FF48 and still missing Account button.

Yep, same thing here.
Here's what I'm observing:

The Account button is only missing from the forum page. If I go to the front page, or to the account page itself (manually, by going to https://www.gog.com/account), the account button shows up just fine and works like it should.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Edit:
The button is also gone from the Support page, but appears to work fine on all other pages besides Support and Community (Front page, Games, Account, Chat, etc.).

Also if you're on a page that doesn't have the Account button you can right click on the Games tab, then click on Open Link in New Tab and the Account button will reappear on the page in the new tab.

Like I said in the other thread, the button reappears because it works on the Games page. The whole "open link in new tab" thing has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

Confirmed on all counts.

Additionally, I just noticed that from the Community and Support pages, the "Games" tab will not drop down when you hover the cursor on it.

Ah, well spotted :-)

My way works, doesn't it? Enough said.

Yeah, as mentioned above. All the angular features should be broken because of this, so that's all the dropdowns as well as the avatar menus etc.

Yes, your way works. What also works is typing the URL manually into MS Word, then changing the font to Comic Sans Italic, increasing the size to 36pt and the color to aquamarine, and then copying the URL and pasting it back into the address bar of your browser. Is this in any way relevant? No.

We are trying to uncover the precise nature of the problem. Your "solution" implies that the problem is related to the active browser tab, when this has been demonstrated to not be the case.

I'm sorry, but in my vocabulary "angular" means "having sharp corners". You are obviously using the word in a technical sense. What is it? Some kind of GUI API?

...Well, there goes my idea for a workaround. =P
Seems like I talked too fast at the account button is now broken again for me (Firefox 47.0.1)

For me too (Chromium based browser), at least on the forum pages. It works on the main page.

Also all drop down menus for users in the forum aren't working, the ones with wishlist, start conversation etc.
