^ Wow, great question. Normally I'd say going into the nature definitely speeds the process up. But I guess that answer is taken already.
Writing music helps if I don't get distracted with details. A simple song that's done is always better than a masterpiece never to be listened to.
Some games work, too. Bioshock 1 and 2 can both rip me out of this existence, and when I'm done (or rather they are done with me) they spit me out as a totally refreshed person. They are the only games to reproduce this effect, btw.
