Yep. After 26 seasons and 13 episodes, on the 14th episode of the 26th season, The Simpsons get a pixel art intro. It's a show that's always been famous for quirky introductions usually done by famous artists and this is my favorite Simpsons intro of all time, I think. Pixel art and chiptune theme song.

It would have been more impressive it was actual 16-bit style aesthetic and not this modern "let's make things out of block chunks but still really smooth" nonsense.

I was a freshman in high school when that show debuted. I can't even get my head around that. XD
That's about what I'd expect from The Simpsons.
