Would be fun if anyone have any updates for any game?

Also I will probably make a shot at this which I mentioned a while ago, if more would be interested in it.

Prah: I don't know how large the market is on these games as they were (probably) never published outside Scandinavia but Pan Vision (a large Nordic game publisher, former known as Pan Interactive) owns the rights to a lot of old games from the late 90's to early 2000's, maybe it's possible to get them here on GOG if the interest in any games seems to be big? Like this one maybe

Old development studios that was merged into Pan Vision

Double post oops.

However I have decided to proceed with trying to get this series of 3 games to GOG

The Mystery at Greveholm (1997)
The Mystery at Greveholm 2: The Journey to Planutus (1998)
The Mystery at Greveholm 3: The Old Legend (2000)

They all are based on a popular Swedish kids' Christmas television show made in 1996.

However I will find out who owns the rights to them because they might be stuck at any of the following instances:

SVT (The Swedish Public Service Television Channel) that owns the name The Mystery at Greveholm due both producing and hosting the 1996 Chrismas show and it's follow up 2012 Christmas Show.

The publisher company Young & Genius AB is today defunct and was bought by PanVision AB in 2001, so they might have the IP for the game.

Then there are the developer companies, Vioma Digital Media AB (who made the two first games) and Framfab Digital Media (who made the third game). Framfab is today known as LBi while Vioma Digital Media AB still exists as of today (with an office just downtown from where I live, how convenient). What these two studios have in common though is the key person and director of all 3 games, Peter Nyrell who will be the person I will proceed to contact first.

If you want to vote for these games, you can find the wishlist entry here.

Today I contacted the head developer who is very positive for the idea!
Who owns the following:

Attack of the Saucerman! (1999) <-- possibly Sony?
Seek and Destroy (1996) <-- possibly Epic?
Tegel's Mercenaries (1992)
Final Impact (1998)
Spellcross (1997)
Who owns the rights to these games?

Powerslave

I think this is still a MindCraft property. I have tried getting in touch with all sorts of people from that company, but with no luck. I don't know what happened to the company or its properties. You could also try asking Robert Tegel Bonifacio himself:

I know Night Dive has said that they know who has the rights to the game, but whoever it is (Night Dive doesn't want to say), they do not want to re-release it. Though, a beta of the PC port of the Saturn version was briefly available for free on the official website not too long ago.

I was in touch with Ali Atabek probably over two years ago (right around when this thread started), but only exchanged one or two emails before he stopped responding.

Did he indicate he had the rights to Mindcraft stuff at all? Though if you passed this info to GOG and nothing happened after all this time, there may be more complex issues. Not a single one of the things I sent led to a release. :-(

No, in checking my emails just now, I guess he only responded once, essentially saying, "Feel free to contact me"; the next few times I tried contacting him I never got a response, though.

I passed on the info to Turnipslayerr on a couple of occasions (years and months ago) but he keeps really busy on various things so I don't always get a response.
Some glimmer of hope regarding Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. In response to the query "any chance we might finally see VtM: Bloodlines on @GOGcom someday?", Shams Jorjani of Paradox replied "great suggestion."

I was just about to tweet him that, but I'm glad somebody beat me to it and got a response. :) I tweeted him anyways encouraging that to happen, and I'd encourage others to follow suit.
Oops, meant to post that in the 'Unofficially confirmed' thread. :-P

Did you get anywhere in trying to locate the rights situation on the Witchaven titles?

Is that so? Didn't they say they were working on releasing a Playsation/Saturn-based version of the game on PC? They didn't succeed?

I looked into it only a little, but didn't get anywhere. I'm sure I could find something substantial if I had a lot more free time, but that is hard to come by of late. =-\

According to a Night Dive interview back in August:
"Powerslave: Not completely dead but stalled because of rights issues, they tracked down the right holder and they have no interest in seeing the game released and since they know the rights holder is they can't release the game even as a free download. "
