Alpha founded and beta?
Dunno since I'm not into betas so much.
Maybe this is interesting.
It's the original beta version of Resident Evil 2, friendly called RE 1.5.
Fans are improving it trying to make a full game out of it, for now there's this beta and it's very interesting to explore.

And, well, before someone asks yeah, it's legal, since Capcom didn't stop the project yet.
