Since a portion of the responses I and other "rights' researchers" get really don't fit in the "unofficial confirmation" thread, yet the games being mentioned aren't "lost" like in the "search for game rights" thread, I figured an "inbetween" thread was needed.

For example, I emailed Codemasters about Clive Barker's Jericho, and got this response:

"Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning Clive Barkers Jericho. Unfortunately we cannot confirm any plans, at the moment, to make Clive Barkers Jericho available on GOG. We do not rule out doing so, but this will not be in the immediate future."

Not that interesting, but in case you want to make your voice heard to them, http://www.codemasters.com/uk/contact-us/

Just a remark : Having their negative or noncommital responses grouped in such a topic... Would it not irritate said publishers? (and thus lower the chance of them ever changing their mind). Esp. if people pester them about it?

I'm not saying it will, but some could take it the wrong way.

No less irritating than it is for a gamer being fobbed off with such non-committal responses.
Did you give up on your sig? :P

I highly doubt they're cruising the GOG forums.
Cool thread, and thanks for the effort you're putting into this.

I sort of think that the best method to get more publishers is to focus on getting one of the BIG developers to jump on, as the smaller ones will follow - but not so much the other way around.
Thanks for your continuing efforts, tfishell.

I suppose that's one way to take it, but I and SCPM feel like contacting publishers is the best way for them to take notice that people want a specific game here.

I'm not asking people to automatically "pester" all publishers that are posted here, but if there's a specific game they're interested in that shows up here, I want to give them an opportunity to contact them.

The main point is to share responses that don't fit as *unofficial confirmations*, so I or others don't clog up that thread.
Regarding Dungeons of Dredmor...

The "Gone Home" devs didn't bother to reply to my inquiry regarding a possible GOG release.

Kalypso didn't bother to reply to my email inquiry whether a release of Hard Reset is planned.

No response so far from Klei Entertainment regarding Mark Of The Ninja either (I sent that particular mail less than 24 hours ago, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now).

Mark of the Ninja might be a difficult case since it is published by Microsoft, even on PC.

It might be possible depending on the arrangement they have with the publisher. For instance, Dust: An Elysian Tail is self-published here, but published by Microsoft on Steam. Mark of the Ninja is also on Humble Store, but it doesn't list a publisher there. I did ask Klei back in September 2012 about Mark of the Ninja and Shank coming to GOG but they said that they had no plans at the time.

Their main site lists Microsoft as the publisher. I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft was also the publisher for the game on Humble Store, as Humble does sell Microsoft games (like Age of Empires 2 HD and Halo: Spartan Assault) and the game itself is not available via Humble Widget. At any rate, I smell a case of a prolonged exclusivity deal.

(I thought I posted this already, but I guess not.)

I was actually able to get a response from Steve Gaynor regarding Gone Home:

"We've considered GOG, but have kept our number of distribution platforms low just for logistical reasons. However, if you're looking for a DRM-free version, that is available via the Humble widget on our website: www.gonehomegame.com"

http://fullbright.company/about/ - there's a large variety of contact info here.

(Did I post the Bastion response?)

From Greg Kasavin regarding Bastion:

"We have no immediate plans for this though we haven't ruled anything out for the future and appreciate your interest. For what it's worth the Steam version of Transistor is DRM-free and can be played offline once downloaded."

Got a super nice reply from Klei about "Mark Of The Ninja". And it sounds pretty encouraging:

"We're trying our best to get Mark of the Ninja to GoG.com hopefully sometime in the near future. I don't have a specific date at the moment, but when we have concrete details, you can be sure that we'll be announcing it."
