Sad news: I was thinking to ask you if you'd want to marry me.

dr.schliemann you da man!

I've been wanting to start an Olympic thread but I was worried it would turn into a bitch fest follwed but some assholes using it as a platform to criticize and condemn it.

I've already watched four or five soccer games and I'm looking forward to more. I really cherish the Parade of Nations, but I fear I may be too damn tired to watch the whole thing. :P

I created it just for you to post.
I expected a thread about the Olympics to be very different, but seeing it as positive as it is, far be it for me to change it.

By the way, this is really the 31st Olympic games? I don't remember jokes 4 years ago about the Olympics XXX. A total waste if that's true.
Just took a peek at the opening. Surprised they went with the song they did, since the lyrics are pretty sad. At least in the part with the parkour in the buildings that I saw.

Edit: Well they switched to a different song soon enough, a happier one that seems more in line with the Olympic games.

Who let the druggies out, woof woof woof.

Oh, is that not the Olympic theme tune?

But you did anyway didn't you...

I gotta love special agents' fighting ability. Russians (or at least people associated with them) don't joke around with vermin. Shooting the lowlife with its own weapon; now that is amusing!
The ceremony seemed a little chaotic to me, but I personally appreciated the low-budget feeling and the environmentalist message.

dr.schliemann: The opening ceremony of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad will start at 20:00 BRT (23:00 UTC) in Rio.
Well it was a valiant try however it seems Adolf and his dipshit friends have decided to ruin yet another thread.

Low budget?

And I think there's something else after all the countries go by, but I have no idea what it might be.

Not that there's much point trying to salvage this thread.
