The Necromancer's Tale from Psychic Software is coming to GOG on June 24th, DRM-free.

Set in an alternate 18th century Italy, this narrative-driven gothic RPG casts you as a minor noble drawn into the dark arts – mastering ancient rituals, raising an army of the dead, and navigating a world of secrecy, courtly intrigue and creeping madness.

With 400,000 words of story, 180+ unique NPCs, and a deep social trust system where every choice can bring you closer to the hangman's noose, it's the kind of RPG fans of Disco Elysium and Planescape: Torment have been waiting for.

Wishlist it now so you don't miss the release on June 24th, and make it yours to keep forever.
Looks interesting, but will maybe not run on my PC. Sad now I am.
Thank you to GOG and the studio for this great announcement =)

dtgreene: This would really just be an option you could select at the beginning, not a mandatory (or even default) change to the game.
Fair enough. Diablo 4 actually lets you skip the campaign any any new character, as long as you've beaten it at least once. I guess it wouldn't kill Blizzard or anyone else to add such an option from the get go.

SultanOfSuave: You're so interested that you don't even need the silly reminder!
Considering how I'm sporadically all over the place I might just as well be the target audience for the reminder :D

dtgreene: Difficulty options are shown for players who like narrative with different amounts of liking combat or just wanting to skip it and get to the narrative.

But where's the option for "skip the narrative; I'm just here for the combat!"?

(I'd actually like to see some RPGs actually offer this option.)
There should be a "Uhhhhggghhh Mode" for this game that is all combat - no wasting your time with trivial matters, like talking to the living.
Yo! Shout out to the developer bringing this to GOG. Awesome Possum!
Looks fun, wishlisting this.
