I want you to name a gaming system that you love (console or computer) and what makes it special.
For me it is the Commodore Amiga. Going from a Commodore Plus/4 and my brothers Spectrum to the Amiga was just mind-blowing. It is the most notable jump in quality between generations and no system has wowed me as much since.
Some of my favourite games to this day are Amiga titles - Speedball 2, Powermonger, Pinball Fantasies, SWOS the list just goes on and on.

As for gaming system that I love then that goes to Amiga 500 that I bought when I was 11, still play Amiga games once in a while and they are still a lot of fun and the games has aged well for the most part. Also have fond memories of Sega Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 but didn't actually own them myself, just happened to visit a friend who had these rather frequently.

My favorite game console was the sega gane gear. I was about 6 when it came out. I would take it everywhere and couldnt stop playing it. They discontinued it very quickly but not before i got a hold of a about 20 or ao games. And i would finish them over and over. My favorite game was a power rangers side scrolling fighting game. Would play it for hours. I still have the console in my storge.

As for me, The great C-64 were the best one. Simple asm, loads of possibilities and SID. I felt in love immediately, listening to the 8 bits since and will never stop I guess. Another one is obviously PC, because of more possibilities. Also got a PS4 Pro at release and I like the hardware very much, although the soft/firmware seems to be a disaster, I wish Sony goes open source..

As far as the best gaming system goes, I must say Commodore 64.
Simplicity combined with brilliance. And to this date, I haven't found a computer that boots up faster than the old C64*!

mad props for being an amiga supporter, i loved this system too .. mostly a500 and a1200 lateron .. those were the times!!
times where most games where made with lots of care to detail and a good portion of heart and blood. lots of game designs, that live on until now .. ofcourse the best pinball game was on amiga too :D

among my memories are pirates, populous, chaos engine, zool, turrican, pang, dune, north&south, lemmings, bubble bobble, rainbow islands, loads of adventures (including all lucas arts) and many more .. golden memories, ahhh, lovely :D

edit: forgot to answer the question: other than the PC where all my favourite games are, and PSX where i've had lots of fun when i was younger, one of my favourite "systems" are actually the arcades, if they can be counted as "systems". Not only some of the greatest and most favourite games are there, but the whole "Insert Coin", "Press Start Button", the sound of the controls and the feeling of the short gamestick are a gamer's paradise. I was planning to build such a arcade machine myself, but life happened and the whole project stopped (but not abandoned, as i'm sure i'll get down to it at some point soon).

My favourite system is probably the Mattel Intellivision. It got me started on electronic gaming and I spent hours Dungeon Delving, Blasting Aliens, and Sinking Fleets.
