You know what, I do like "Omerta" (2,5 starts out of 5, I think it's the eighth worst rated game on gog, if you don't count DLCs and stuff).

It's simple, very basic managment-wise, but it's a series of cool turn-based shootouts, in a nice graphic and musical atmosphere, and I like a lot this barely-interactive-at-all town view. It's more of a map/menu than a town view actually, but it looks like a town, which is so pretty that it lead people to expect more "Gangsters"-like stuff available there.

What game do you honestly like, from gog's official bottom scrap list ?
The lowest I've played enough to judge is Crusaders of Might and Magic. I played it years ago (retail) and I did enjoy it. It's certainly not game-of-the-year or anything and didn't break any new ground. There are better games, but that doesn't stop it from being enjoyable.
Well I don't own any of 2 or 3 rated games yet, but the lowest game rating in my library overall is Riven. So far I own Real Myst, which got 4.5 stars, Riven which got 4.3 stars it looks, and Pharoah got 5/5. Even though Riven got a "lower" score I think it is either because of the difficulty, or a lot of people don't know how to get the Myst games to run in Windows 64 bit modern OSs, but they do run in Windows 7 64 bit, perfectly, with a few changes to settings, but it works!
GOG doesn't have the best search and rating system to actually rank and compare games by rating, but if I sort the games by rating and then go from bottom to top while ignoring those at the very bottom that just don't seem to have enough votes yet to be ranked, then I guess the lowest game in that list that I actually liked is Gone Home (which IMO isn't a bad game at all, probably just downvoted by people who felt the need to counterbalance the media hype around it). I don't think I've played any 2,5 stars or below games here. I own Omerta but never gave it a try so far.

I actually enjoyed this one for a time as well. The turn based combat isn't bad either, and it was fun to level up my gangsters.

However I did eventually hit a major wall when the management portion just became too samey. I was doing the same thing EVERY MAP. I've never played "freemium" games but if South Park taught me anything, they play a lot like the management sections of Omerta, but with a pay wall. Again, not a bad game and I did enjoy the time I spent with it but when I was done I found it really easy to put down and never look back.
I actually liked 1849 as a "cheap filler while traveling" game and wish GOG had the expansion for it.
Daikatana isn't as terribad as people say it is. The Ancient Greece and Dark Ages levels are legitimately great-looking by the year 2000 standards. If you pick a 7/10 or even a 8/10 modern game, you can do much, much worse.

That being said, I wouldn't advise anyone to play it in 2015. FPSes live and die by their community, and Daikatana isn't a game that's worth spending time on being good at. It's like, "oh, I counted all the 'r's in this book manually" -- uh, idunno, whatever?
Neverending Nightmare is certainly not my favorite game, but I liked it more than three stars. Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is excellent. Both those games seem to have been rated low for reasons that have nothing to do with their actual quality (Nightmare because of its length, AMFP because it's not Dark Descent.)

edit: Oh, and Gone Home is excellent, in spite of the collective tantrum the community threw over it.

Am I reading that correctly? Is Battle Realms really that low rated?

?

it's currently scoring 4.8/5.0

Then the page is screwed up. I chose to list by user rating and Realms is on the last page.

Scratch that; looks like I'm screwed up. :P

Invictus is the lowest I own and enjoyed up to some point.
It's a weird RTS ; fun but weird.
It has a good deal of replayability.
Is it challenging or difficult ? I really can't say.
I definitely played a lot of worse games.
It's the kind of game I can play and complete it if I play in one loose shot (but if I just interrupt my session for a couple of games, I wouldn't be able to get back to it)
Chronology

A cute short game that lasts only a couple hours but is wonderfully made, it's a rather easy puzzle platformer that doesn't require lots of reflexes but has some clever puzzles. I was pleasantly surprised.

The low rating is due to the fact that this game originally cost more and people didn't feel it was worth its price. It is worth its new price however, but sadly the negative reviews can't be changed or commented on. A feature that really needs to be implemented.
