in both witcher parts and in the books (if my imagination doesn't trick me) geralt had mostly to choose one of two evils and deal with the consequences, there was no way to avoid both evils and go your own way.

but in one early pr video about the witcher 3 (Killing Monsters) cdproject suggested that geralt finally gets the chance to choose his own way in tw3.

there was also one early article (can't find it anymore), where cdproject stated that geralt can finish the game without getting involved in human politics, which indicates that he can avoid choosing between 2 evils.

this is all from 2013 and since then its got quite about this aspect of the game. so do you think cdproject did dumb this down for whatever reason they had or will we finally get the chance to choose our own renegade way like the killing monsters trailer suggested?

They had to dumb it down for the console people.

yep i think thats the most possible reason. i had already a bad feeling about witcher 3, the first time i got to know that they'll release on consoles too AND there will be no differences between the platforms
I wish I was a forum moderator so I could shove all witcher 3 threads to the witcher 3 subforum. <.<

That is not true. The environment won't differ and there won't be bigger crowds of people on PC but that doesn't mean that the console versions will have the same graphics quality. I think I read that they have less detailed versions of the same models for consoles but obviously they haven't completely different models.
I can't really imagine what you mean by no differences because even that you have graphics options and a save-game-importer make the versions different.

And even if they had only made one version of the game designed for top-notch systems then they wouldn't have had a chance of making a profit from Witcher 3. How many people are there who have better hardware than consoles and how many of them would be willing to pay multiple times the amount of money for that game? :)

We need one. Too much witcher 3 posts flooding out everything else.

Does the neutral path in the first game not count?

Actually only in The Witcher 2 you join sides. In Witcher 1 you could stay neutral and go your own way.

what neutral path? i have to admit that i played witcher 1, not the enchanced edition. so if there are differences than don't spoil me more about the neutral path of witcher 1 ee.

So if you think about it's just like the first one and just like the books, which is best knowing that this is the last game for Geralt, which is very smart for them, because I don't want to join any sides in my playthrough.

I don't think that there's a difference what you played. The first Witcher has 3 endings: the order, the scoia'tel and most original one like in the books, the neutral. That means that you can choose your own side and not joining any.

the forum as it is is a house of wet cards build on a table made from ice
galaxy alone had a shit load of influx of new people and the witcher 3 preload brought the whole system down to its knees a few times

when 19 may hits the whole site will go splodie
