Darvond: Factorio. I cannot in good mind, suggest it to anyone for 30 dollars. Nothing about Factorio is 30 dollars.

Crosmando: What?! Have you even played it, Factorio is worth like 60 bucks and it's not even finished. Get better taste fag.
Get better manners. Anonymity online does not mean you have to talk like a drunken football fan in a pub.

On topic: I wish Hellblade was cheaper. Lovely game, but linear is linear.

GameRager: You can be honest with us....it was trying on new disguises and such, wasn't it? XD
Well, I was addicted to the challenges and one challenge was trying on every outfit in each level, so... yes?

GameRager: I wish Shadow Warrior 1/2(the new ones) were much cheaper as I also want to play them to see how they fair compared to the original.
Both were free on separate occasions. Not sure you can get cheaper than that.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Those "newstyle-retro" games, are pretty expensive. Those new, flashy shooters and metroidvanias, specifically. I could certainly buy myself some:

Amid Evil
Dusk
Hollow Knight package
Dead Cells package
I'm not sure I follow that logic. Hollow Knight is not retro in any sense (unless you consider being 2D retro?), and the other games like Dead Cells and Dusk might have a bit of a call to a retro aesthetic (not that any of them could realistically have been made back then), but why does that mean they should be worth less? The amount of content and enjoyment in a game like Hollow Knight or Dead Cells makes them well worth the base price they have.

Of course, game pricing on a whole is sort of broken, and I personally almost never buy games not on deals.
Still, in terms of UNFAIR expense, I'm a bit annoyed at Morrowind's price. I don't mind the base price of $20, again, it is well worth that, but it's never more than 66% off here, and I've seen it regularly at 75% on sales on steam (and even cheaper on steam reseller sites).
Meh, screw it.

My bad. I never meant they are worth less, on the contrary! I am simply jealous of other distributors' discounts, that's all!

Since GOG slowly abolished ALL good-old-policies of old (minus the central, DRM-Free main "attraction"), i find it almost mandatory, to compare and contrast. Games no longer come with bells and whistles, here; even EXTRAS have mostly been forgotten (am still waiting for Fallout classic collection to bring theirs back!).

I used to regularly buy games FULL PRICE, in the past (and sometimes, on really special occasions, still do). But that was when there had been value for money, round these parts. It's not that i am nagging; simply lacking "initiative", that's all.

Those "new" games, are as great as they come! But after store "renovations", i started buying strategically... And waiting for "proper" discounts.
I miss the $0.99 Interplay deals .

Speaking of that, someone commented that the combined price of the Space Quest games here is more than the collection on steam, but on Steam, I'm not sure it includes the manual and artwork (not counting the automated 'HD Wallpapers' and avatars that are also there).

ReynardFox: I'd buy Screamer 1 & 2 if Blizzard would go higher than 66%, I'm not willing to give them the satisfaction ever since they upped their base prices.
I wish Blizzard would stop releasing games owned by other companies over here.

Oof.

Interplay, I meant Interplay dammit.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC.

Already own it for consoles and now I have to double-dip if I want the game again. Damn, I wish that game was cheaper.
I guess we can all wish something was cheaper, and sometimes they eventually do become so ... and some certainly should be. So as they say, it is a waiting game, and the chase is often better than the catch.

It is all too easy for some to pick on GOG as the culprit, when in reality it is often the provider at fault.

At the end of the day, money talks and money walks .... or vice-a-versa.

Epic currently have 1 or 2 free games every week, not that I would encourage you away from GOG. And even though I am yet to install one, I have quite a healthy collection of free games at Epic now. Ultimately I want the DRM-Free versions at GOG, and I do have that for some. But certainly, until prices are more reasonable here for the others, that is a good alternate or rainy day option.

I sadly wasn't here when they gave them out. :(
