Well, that is true. If you don't like strategy but just like choosing Yuri's side, build things and smash everything on the screen, I understand you "brrrrr" a fundamental issue at strategy games xD.
And I have been playing C&C since I was 3 years old, so I think I might know what an average C&C player might desire ;)

Not true! Yuri had many weaknesses... Also, both allies and soviets had overpowered stuff (prisma/apocalypse etc). That game was imbalancedly balanced!

tinyE: Not to be a pooper but I heard RA 3 was a DRM mess. Of course I also heard that they were working to fix that but I never got a follow up on it.

zaine-h: I don't see any mention of third party DRM on the Steam page, so it's possible that was fixed. Of course this isn't RA 3, but the standalone expansion.
I think all the DRM crap might have been removed some time after release.
On the other hand I hope they put all the DRM locks in the world on C&C4 because, oh boy, no human should venture in that game.
