There’s a time to plant and there's a time to harvest. The upcoming week will give you the chance to roam across the golden fields of greatly discounted DRM-free titles. The Harvest Sale on GOG.COM is here with over 1500 fresh gaming deals glistening in the sun at up to 91% off!

First, make sure to grab the juicy 48h giveaway of the adrenaline-fueled FPS classic Serious Sam: The First Encounter available on the front page until August 26th, 1 PM UTC. Of course, this shiny crop doesn’t grow alone as we welcome the pre-order for the long-awaited Serious Sam 4 on GOG.COM!

After tasting the giveaway fruit, you simply must check out the other gaming deals of the Harvest Sale. Dive into the dark world of crime and punishment in Batman - The Telltale Series (-50%). Test your patience and accuracy in Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts (-40%). Build your industrial and (of course) agricultural empire in Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition (-75%). Create a team of chefs in Overcooked! 2 Gourmet Edition (-40%) or form a band of relentless zombie hunters in Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition (-70%). Finally, harvest your fear while celebrating the 25th anniversary of the cult horror classic Phantasmagoria (-35%).

Together with the Harvest Sale, we launch two additional special offers. Pre-order the upcoming real-time strategy Iron Harvest now and get Sudden Strike 4 for free! You can also expand your action game collection with the Quad Damage bundle. It consists of four exceptional indie games: Elderborn (-30%), Hedon (-30%), Nightmare Reaper (-20%), and Project Warlock (-60%). Reap the whole bundle to get an additional 5% off.

The Harvest Sale runs until August 31st, 1 PM UTC. The Quad Damage bundle runs until September 7th, 1 PM UTC and the Iron Harvest free game offer is available until September 8th, 1 PM UTC.

ciemnogrodzianin: Let me guess once more - Broken Lines perhaps?
Absolutely this! Thank you that was bugging me!

Sarafan: Those who have these games on the wishlist know that they joined the sale. :) But I agree that it would be better if it was announced somehow.

gamefood: That's gog. Gog moves in mysterious ways. :)
Mysterious? Not quite; as Sarafan correctly points above, it seems that they found a way to make more customers use the Wishlist & Store Notifications features. ;)

almost entirely EA games here, nice
Hello, I have a question that maybe has a simple answer. I bought Neverwinter Nights at the Harvest sale discount price, and I was intending to buy it as a gift for a friend, but when I go to do that, the price of the checkout is not the one with the discount.

Does the discount apply just once per account?

Ooohh okay, that makes it clear. Thank you so much!
Has anyone tried Hypergun?
Huh? The Harvest sale is already over? Dang, I had to wait for my money, now I can`t participate in the sale anymore.
Please GOG, don`t let sales begin and end at the end of a month, since many people don`t have extra money to spend at this time of the month!

I mean most probably we're going to have at least two really big sales before the year ends. And a lot of shorter lists of discounts. And excellent newsletter offers, which often force me to make unexpected purchases. So if a day of month affects your capabilities, I guess it's always good idea to be ready with some money in a wallet :)

Personally I use GOG wallet in one of 2 scenarios:
a) when I've got a top up as a gift :)
b) when I make small purchases - I guess paying $1 generates relatively high transaction costs for GOG, so I prefer to top up my wallet with bigger amount and keep these microtransactions' between me and GOG, just because I like them and I want them to earn more from my purchases xD
