Yep, same up here. Mid summer we have daylight until about 10 PM. It's like having a whole day after work ends.

The area is rapidly being developed and suburbanised. Every year less maggies, less kookies, and less galahs.
Increases in wood ducks, crows, plovers and bin chickens.
The air isn't sweet in the morning. The sounds in the morning are not the wind in the trees or the birds happily calling, but the f*cking traffic down the road.

*sigh*

You would be surprised by having a decent tree in the backyard and feeding the birds, just how many come around.Only drawback is the cockees as they are a bit destructive but overall we have all types visiting for a free feed. And that's in the suburbs/city.
Trying to head off to bed but the Brewers just won their game and I'm waiting for another to finish. Gonna have to read a bit to come down from the Brewers high, before hitting the pillow.
*yawn*
