I want to clear something up for myself in regards to gifting a game to someone.

If I buy a game and then gift it, will I still be able to buy that game again for myself?

Ex:GoGerite wished for Fallout. I buy Fallout, and gift it to GoGerite. A month later, I decide I want to buy Fallout. Will I be able too?

The reason I ask is because in the old thread (forgot where I say this), someone was saying that they couldn't purchase the game again after gifting it to someone. I could be wrong but I just want to make sure.

I've never actually done it, but I am able to add a game to my cart and go to checkout with a game I've gifted. I assume I could go the final step.
As I mentioned earlier, I considered making a guide on editing basics for the wishlist, and I actually got around to doing it!

Consider adding this to the original post if you think it's any good. I tried to keep things simple, but it's fairly complete, and about halfway through I started getting bored, so I made an effort to make learning fun! :D

Yes, there are no restrictions on the number of times you can buy a game. I've bought multiple copies of several games on GOG in the past.

I'd buy it, but I'm flat broke from all the other crap I bought. :P
Thanks for the clarification nmillar!
I updated my "Games Owned" list. In other words, I just made it.
I never made a wishlist, I'll do it.

Time for my wishlist - but before that, my sob story

I am currently working in China. The thing about being in this communist country is that the powers that be make it nigh on impossible to get your money OUT of China. My bank account back in Australia is running on empty, and as a result, I'm unable to make any DD purchases to keep me entertained!

Now for the Wishlish - if you want to make my day - steven[dot]loughton[at]gmail[dot]com

WISHLIST
CLICKY!

RECEIVED
Painkiller: Black Edition - thanks to the generosity of Al1
The Witcher Enhanced Edition Director's Cut - muchos gracais to Trilarion
The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings - big ups to kneethecap

GIFTED
None yet - intend to pay it forward when I can... *sings* I gotta get out of this place...

What can I do in return? Well, I can pass on the goodwill gesture once I leave here long enough to get some cash back home... or if you're an Aussie who's sick of getting ripped by Steam (I know.. I know...) I can purchase for you at the US price (if you trust me enough to DD the money to my account beforehand...)

So there we go... cheers and beers to the GOG community!

Lol. I'd never seen this game on GOG before, so I was about to tear into you with the idiot stick. Glad I clicked your link first and saw that it's actually on GOG. =P
I'll continue adding your posts to the wishlist, but it's rather time consuming, so consider taking a crack at doing it yourself. My guide provides more than enough information to help you add your own name to the list, and you can always hit undo, so don't be afraid to give it a try! :D

Edit: Oh, great. I decide to finally make a guide and they update the menus just now. Well, it's mostly the same, but "sort" is now under data, not tools.
