Woohoo! But I wish it'd say what games they represent to avoid confusion.
A change tracker?
In my wallet, I currently have:
$0.37
This would be a useful thread for me, except for one small issue:
THE AMOUNT NEVER FREAKIN' INCREASES!

Anyways, to at least PRETEND I can be on-topic for once, I find it kind of amusing that the first "official" developer to show up immediately tries to move everybody to a different forum.

Gydion: Developer class accounts. Only one I've noticed so far.
Thanks, I'll add it to the list. Interesting that the font colour is pretty much the chromatic opposite of GOG Staff Blue. :)
Yep, interesting thread, thanks for that! :-)

Blues seem to be geting orange bold, as seen here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_break_thread/post1243/?staff=yes

Maybe oranges will get blue bold text...
Wow, amazing, so they're able to give a tag to devs and give them a new colour but when it come to solve forum problems for their userbase they won't do a thing.

I can see a memoir here:
Orange Is the New Blue: My Years on the GOG Forum
Also saw that ThomNG from Nordic is orange now as well. Only applies to their new posts though. Old ones are still grey.

Interesting. So I assume the database tags somehow on a per-post basis, rather than per-account. Unless his Developer account is technically distinct from his previous one.

One way of testing this premise would be to see if posts from Judas before he became an admin are regular coloured.

That's always been the case. Judas's pre-admin posts are indeed not blue.

I suspected as much, but my memory can be unreliable at times. Though I suppose it's still possible that account elevation (from User to Admin or Developer) still creates a sort-of new account from the system's perspective, such that posts are tagged at that level.

All just forensic speculation on my part. I like to try to guess what's happening behind the curtain, so to speak.

As an aside, I noticed his rep also disappeared. Would be kinda awesome to be rep-less.

Stardock coming here seems to be missing. It was a big deal I think, before that many people (well, myself at least) considered them to be bastion of Steam-exclusive games.

It hasn't disappeared. He's currently at 4037 rep, though you'll need to find a pre-blue post of his to check it.

It's similar, I think, to another phenomenon, whereby if you reply to someone's old post from a period when that person had a different avatar, the avatar shown alongside your reply is the old avatar, even though the new avatar is the one shown with the post you had replied to. Basically, I believe there is some "cached" information kept with each post, which is independent from the current global information.
