01kipper: I'm in. Nice GA, thanks!

I've only been to one European city, so I'll pick that as my favourite: Graz, Austria. The city I'd most like to visit however is Reykjavík (I'm fascinated by Iceland) but somehow I doubt that one's featured in the game :D!
It's not featured yet! There's a Scandanavia DLC coming soon for the game and if my geography is correct (which it once and while is) Iceland is in Scandinavia... or I'm wrong and got your hopes up for nothing haha.
Not in! Thanks! +1

I would love to travel to many European cities! I would love to go to Tallin, Edinburgh, Reine, Saltzburg, Innsbruck, Florence, Mann (if it counts), Bruges, Krakow, Porto, Sighisoara and many others but generally i love the medieval towns. Wonderful places. :)
Not in.

It's a toss-up between Rota, Spain, where I met and courted my wife, and Gibraltar, where we became married.

More of a memories thing instead of the city itself.

Falci: I'm in for grimwerk. :)

the_atm: Uhhh... I'm not sure if that even counts haha. I guess if grimwerk is okay with it it'l count.
Thanks to you both, but I'd much rather it went to someone who'd find time to enjoy it.

I was just attracted by the topic.
I'd like to be in for grimwerk as well :D.

I'm usually really bad at these sort of questions. But I decided to open mousepad and write out european cities I'd been to, and then keep removing the less memorable ones until I was left with...
Milan :O

Might have been the company (my companion was very passionate about the city despite originally being from further north in Italy), but the food, the atmosphere, the attitudes of the people, the old buildings, the goofy touristness, the ridiculously expensive shopping...it charmed me :D.

Ha. Stirrer-upper.

My wife's cousin worked in Milan for a few months. We joined him at his hotel for a week.

The underground parking access was super entertaining. There was a card slot at the top of a very tight corkscrew, and this slot lifted a timed gate at the bottom of the corkscrew. Why design it that way, if not for a kind of menacing amusement? Her cousin often found himself stuck at the bottom of the ramp, with the gate closed. He also tore the wing mirror off of two rental cars. Happily, he's the sort that can laugh at himself.

There was a prostitute with excellent wooly thigh-high boots who lingered at the bus stop outside our hotel. (Classy hotel, I guess.) We passed her on the way out one night, and she was still there when we returned. "That woman's been waiting for the bus a long time, " my wife said.

Most memorable was the cathedral roof. I'd never been to a cathedral with roof access before.

When we returned to the States, my Italian coworker laughed, "You went to Milan? It's the only city in Italy where any work gets done, because it's so ugly."

Oh yeah, Milan was an awesome experience, and not just for "nice" reasons.
I got stranded at the metro/underground with my flight out cancelled, and my phone was dead so I couldn't contact my friend that I wanted to come back. I wasn't being able to find any phonebooths either. So I tried asking a passerby if I could use his phone. Except the guy, being a big-city busy-life guy continued walking. Figuring he might not have heard me (he was wearing earphones, and I'd have stopped someone else, but there weren't a lot of people around), I walked behind him. He saw me coming up behind him and started walking faster. I started walking faster to get to him. In the end he was almost running, with me, this big burly beardo going after him yelling "Telefono, por favor!" and even raising up a 2 euro coin :D.
...thankfully I found a phonebooth eventually.

As far as prostitutes go, while my friend was at work, I ventured out alone for lunch, trying to find this place I had noted on the internet to eat at, and there was some seriously heavy rain, and I wasn't being able to find it. Constantly doubling back and going forward, I guess I must've looked suspicious, because this woman approached me. With me not really being able to speak italian, and coupled with her fairly conservative clothing (plus it was really raining) I wasn't getting what she wanted. Finally, frustrated, she said in english "Oooh baby, baby, sexy", which got me bursting out laughing.
Since such a situation was very novel for me, I asked her in broken spanish if I could take her photograph, to which she agreed :D.

And yeah, the Duomo roof was awesome. When I went, the elevator was broken (or maybe I was too much of a cheapskate to pay for it, I can't remember), so I had the 'pleasure' of walking up. Worth it, of course.

I agree. If you can see the humor in things that go wrong, traveling is a much more forgiving experience.

Excellent stories, thanks.
And that's it! giveaway is closed. thanks all for entering but there can only be one winner.

And that winner is GioVio123!

Congratz and again, thanks all for entering. It was interesting to hear all the places in Europe that y'all love.

I already have "Euro Truck Simulator 2", and I have to say it's very nice.

Also my favorite European City is Santa Cruz in Tenerife! Actually all of Tenerife is a place I would like to spend the rest of my life!
